Looking for LLMD/LLND in the Austin, Texas area!!

My wife really needs help with what we think is likely Lyme disease and multiple co-infections too.
She has been to so many doctors now and no one has listened to her concerns. Recently she tested positive for Chronic Epstein-Barr but the doctor doesn't seem to think it is serious. She was prescribed Doxy for 2 weeks which I'm sure will not even come close to healing her. She has been tortured by this horrible ailment for about 5 years now. No one has helped and she is getting to a point of hopelessness.
Can someone please help us find a Lyme literate MD in the Austin area?

I am so sorry that your family is going through this.i am glad that you have found us and you are not alone anymore. There are many members here that understand your situation and will offer support and answer questions that you may have.

First I would also suggest going to Texas Lyme Support Facebook page. The members there will also have input and recommendations for llmd's in the Austin Area.

You can email me and I will also check my list and send you back the information.

I am at work right now but i will do it later tonight.

We do encourage all new members to read our new to Lyme start here thread at the top of the page.
it has good information on Lyme, symptoms, testing , detoxing and more.

There are members here from texas so im hoping they will see your post and respond too. Just keep checking back.

Your wife would need at least 400 mg two X a day of Doxy to begin and way more than 2 weeks of treatment.That is if the infections are caught early.

Getting to an llmd is very important, they can clinically diagnosis your wife for these infections.

You can go to ilads.org and look for the treatment guidelines there. You can also do a doctor(llmd) search there to for your area

I'm not in Texas but seen good things about Dr. Taylor from Texas Intergrative medicine when it comes to chronic/environmental illnesses.
