hello after i started l-lysine i feeling flu somebody know why?

I don’t know why it would cause any symptoms. I take it to keep shingles virus in check.

ty Walking maybe its just a flu but i have only had flu once time since i got sick and all around me get sick easily very weird

Just started taking Lysine as well due to getting a cold sore and started feeling crappy as well. Really bad fatigue and more achy. I’m thinking the Lysine is boosting our low immune system and it’s causing our bodies to fight something off, causing a herx. I get that with most immune boosters. This is the first time I’ve tried Lysine.

I just started lysine and herxed mildly with some bone pain that felt like the flu. I woke up feeling pretty darn good after a couple of days of being fatigued.
It was weird because I haven’t herxed in a while and I feel good generally with minor exceptions.
I’ve also been chewing up raw organic parsley which seems to be effective for a few things. about
3 or 4 sprigs a day.

Yeah, I just remembered that I took a big white Lysine pill along with my vitamins, and I think it is breaking up the EBV, CMV and other V's, caused a Herx, yes. Cold sores, very bad nerve pain that only seems to dissipate with very strong medical marijuana lol and I consider myself very lucky (I was hesitant) because they just legalized medicinal cannabis for medical use recently... It was long-overdue (to legalize medical marijuana). It really REALLY alleviates herpetic nerve pain.
