Symptoms during your protocol

Doxycycline 1st, then minocycline. Then herbs for 3 months or so. Been tested 3 times for co-infections. Only BB positive, that still shows up. I’m using Buhner and Cowden herb mix to treat all just incase. My spine has been terrible for months. That just recently went into steroid mode.

Do you mean that you started using steroids recently? Many people with Lyme report a flare in symptoms when using steroids because they depress the immune system. Being on multiple pharmaceutical antibiotics, plus Buhner, plus Cowden is really a ton of stuff. Your system might just be overloaded. Sometimes no amount of detoxing can keep up with the load of endotoxins from dying pathogens, or even simply with the amount of different substances you are ingesting. Also, how is your gut? Are you taking/doing things to protect its flora and lining?

Steroids suppress the immune system and are not advised if you have Lyme/co. That could very likely be what made your symptoms get worse. Are you still taking steroids now? Will you be taking them long term?

My ? is. During your treatment, did your symptoms seem to flare worse towards the end of your protocol? Before your started to see an improvement? Thanks.

Flare of symptoms could be a herx. That is the definition - an increase in symptoms.
