Does she have any symptoms of Lyme or co-infections at this point? Has she been on any sort of treatment, a maintenance protocol, or supportive supplements since the 8-10 weeks of IV antibiotics?
Can you say more about
this sentence: "According to the doctors, since she had not had a period as of yet - there is a 50% chance that it will NOT become a chronic problem." I have not heard this before.
Lyme and co-infections can wreak havoc on the HPA axis, so under-production of pituitary hormones is common for people of all ages when tick-borne disease is in the mix. I hope her body is just taking its time with puberty, as many do.
