Astroman did you treat your Lyme with IV antibiotics or oral antibiotics?
You had it a long time I see.
Long time yes, but I was never bed-ridden, certainly did a lot of couching and car napping. Actually, when I look back to my childhood I think I had it longer than that, I was not well and I remember getting ticks as an adolescent from playing in the woods.
Oral ABX, three at once and changed them around, total of five used. The "shotgun" affect is what my LLMD called it. Herxed five months at one point. Also treated re-occurring candida yeast and treated for leaky gut before ABX. Iam susceptible to gut issues and autoimmune so I have to keep an eye on things. I do have genes that can reflect my many issues, and infection can trigger those to influence. I did every thing I could for the whole body vs mostly targeting the infection(s).
In all truth we may never be completely healed, controlling it is key, which is the same as going for symptom free.
