My histamine intolerance really didn't flare up with certain foods foods until I treated my thyroid with np thyroid and then kelp(iodine), then my bartonella went full blown, remind you some Doctors like Hirsch speculate bartonella likes to hide in the thyroid due the abundance of blood circulation.
https://youtu.be/tgjjtdapfdi?t=912The histamine intolerance followed with a whole list of other psych and PANS symptoms I listed after bartonella flared. Luckily disulfiram did a whole lot of magic for my PANs symptoms, as it's doing a lot for some of Dr. K's patients as well. And guess what Georgia Hunter, I didn't have to go on a vegetarian diet, I eat plenty of meat. I'm also slowly starting to release carbs back into my diet, sometimes the herxing flares while being on Disulfiram, but I'm getting better every week being on the drug.
https://www.lymedisease.org/kinderlehrer-crazy-sick/"He is sensitive to gluten, dairy, and yeast, which I suspected from the pattern of his food cravings. He had a positive Cunningham Panel consistent with PANS. After major improvement on antimicrobials and intestinal support, he suffered a relapse triggered by a mold exposure. Now on disulfiram, he is doing much better."
I'm also starting to see more patients, like a recent man in his 20s report on the disulfiram facebook group getting most of his PANS symptoms reversed after being on disulfiram for 3 months. Incredible, but I know he said those 3 months were herxing hell. I was on disulfiram for the last 2 1/2 months, in the the last three weeks I was treating with rifampi and disulfiram, similar to what Dr. K is doing, wasn't fun I'll tell you that much. I wonder if there's ever been this of an effective drug for chronic lyme patients, it's too bad others have their mind up thinking that disulfiram doesn't seem to kill bartonella and just flares their symptoms. Seems to be not the case with Dr. K's patient, or Liengners were also on a boat load of psych drugs, then after taking disulfiram they no longer need them.
My suspicion that SIBO may play a role, but Bartonella is a big reason for gluten intolerance, dairy inotelerance and a whole list of PANS psych symptoms. One vicious bug, by no surprise to me the project paperclip scientist chose it for the ticks. lol

By the way, I could be wrong, but my gluten tolerance has gotten better while also treating with disulfiram, I wonder if one day I may be free to eat gluten without any reaction, not like I would want to considering the amount of glyphosate now embedded in the grain, but it would be nice to enjoy eating some organic pizza every now and then without being fatigued lol Once I put bartonella in remission, maybe, maybe not... However, the concern is that Bartonella has triggered Celiac for me just as reovirus has done for other Celiac patients.
