CWL: In my last post, there was one part where I discussed what Dr. Jenson has said, and another part where I discussed what you have said (regarding the way that you understand the CDC email). In fact, all of my previous posts have had this distinction. I'm most interested in what you think though, as you are the one that I am interacting with.

Edit: Ok I now think that Dr Jenson WAS referring to the link from the CDC website. He must have received it in an email from the MDH, hence the confusion.

The problem for him in this investigation is that he's been misleading people by saying (in these links you've provided) that if 'Covid-19' is simply on a death certificate, that it will be considered the cause of death. When 'Covid-19' is on part 2 of a death certificate, along with all other "contributing" causes of death, the death will not be counted as a covid death.

I don't think this investigation is actually that big of a deal for him though. Because the complaints don’t have to do with patient care, he isn't under the threat of serious punishment (e.g. losing his license).

I just saw that Dr. Jensen put out a video either yesterday or today saying that after investigating the allegations against him and reading Dr. Jensen's response, the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice has dropped the complaints.

Ok CWL, I'll take your word for it. What he's been saying about death certificates has been misleading though, as has much of the other content you've been consuming. For instance:

We both are doing pretty good now. Still a little residue chest congestion but hardly any. I actually smelled something today and have half of my taste back. Pending a relapse, which is always a possibility, we're starting to think we're in the clear. Thank you so much for asking.

Maybe just lucky. I'm not saying covid isn't dangerous or real just that it is weird we didn't catch it, especially me as close as I am with grandson. For every study that you or I post another contradictory study can be found. Truth is they don't know what they are dealing with yet. To many unknowns. We still distance (not hard where I live).and still only go out for groceries early on weekdays wearing masks. Only eat food I cooked, no take out. It's just crazy that with four of us living in tght quarters with a positive toddler who slobbers on everything didn't catch it.

My niece said she saw grandson's mom on Instagram at a party swimming last week just after she got out of hospital. She tested positive again after the party. She is literally one of the most selfish people I have ever met. sad

Misinformation also seems to be playing a bigger role in the US than in other countries.

What is really murderous is how the mainstream media and the leftists are treating Hydroxychloroquine. Biden and CNN say Hydroxychloroquine kills people (they say it in a way that would dissuade people from taking it). Hydroxychloroquine as a treatment for Covid is being suppressed at every level. Doctors are being censored on social media, website taken down, etc. just because they promote or talk about this medicine.

There's much evidence that it works (combined with Zinc and Z-pak) especially when treating early (which is what we should be doing, not waiting until people are nearly dead).

In 2005, the NIH knew that Chloroquine was a strong inhibitor of SARS Coronaviruses.

The US is largely acting in a Communistic way. In China, scientists who question things can disappear and even be killed. In the US, doctors can be censored and investigated. Restrictive measures (not known to work and known to cause harm) are promoted vigorously while an effective treatment is slandered and denied in many places.

Suppressing early, effective treatments and promoting deadly lock-downs could have caused most of our trouble. Please note that some of the biggest proponents of the lock-downs are also the biggest supporters of the violent mob activity.

CWL: What do you think about substituting quercetin for hydroxychloroquine? It may be just as effective, and it's not a prescription drug.

In the end, you need a doctor to prescribe hydroxychloroquine anyway, so convincing the general public about it's effectiveness doesn't seem all that important to me. I agree though that it's use early on in the disease seems to provide some benefit.

Not sure how your last comment relates, but I don't know anyone who supports "violent mob activity". Perhaps you want to rephrase?

I know its bordering dangerously into politics, but are you even watching the news. Where do you think the $1.5 billion BLM has came from? Where and who is paying for and delivering the piles of bricks? And the videos of people paying the rioters and directing them where to riot? I doubt it's the klan, it's not trump supporters, and it sure isn't libertarians like me, but someone is paying for all of it. Anarchist have to pay the bills too.

Well this thread proves you can't have any conversation about Covid without it devolving in to facebook/cable news style politics-as-sport nonsense. Red team, blue team truth be darned.

I really was hoping this thread would remain open to people sharing their actual experiences like @astronomer and others who have either had it or have family/friends with it. But judging by the above posts, I think it's officially jumped the shark.

Dr. Zelenko's protocol for high risk patients treated within first five days of symptoms is:

Hydroxychloroquine 200mg 2x day for five days
Zinc Sulfate 220mg 1x day for five days
Azithromycin 500mg 1x day for five days

For prophylaxis, he says you could do Hydroxychloroquine and Zinc or you could take Quercetin 500mg 1x day and Zinc 25mg 1x day.

Dr. Zelenko quote from Twitter:

"High risk patients are nursing home residents (especially in NYS), people with serious medical problems or anyone with high viral load exposure should consider prophylaxis with zinc and hcq or zinc and quercetin."

stop taking long term supplements without understanding their risks.

i watched all dr zelenko videos on youtube, he has zero experience with quercetin. he just knows it is a zinc ionophore just like hcq. but when he treats ppl he gives them hcq with zinc, not quercetin.

i would maybe understand taking quercretin for a short while if u know u have been exposed or have covid symptoms. but taking it prophylactically for months? not smart. it is not a harmless chemical in the amounts u find in supplements. the natural/fruit related quercetin is at least 10x smaller in does (if not 20x) than the 500mg supplements u usually buy in amazon.

FYI There are plenty of outlets available online to get your political fix. This forum should not be one of them . Let’s try and get back to helping each other navigate our way through Lyme disease and not succumb to the politicization of Covid 19. Perhaps that subject should be its own forum? This thread has completely gone off track. So sad to those of us who are looking for help and advice from each other.😢

Could it be that you had "colds" a couple months ago and didn't know it and still have immunity?". The odd thing with the cluster in my wife's family is that the most vulnerable one (my 80 year old father-in-law who has major health issues) didn't get covid....and he has been less safe than anybody these past couple months. Not counting the immunity you might have if you healed from it weeks ago, I wonder if some folks have a natural immunity and couldn't get it if they tried.

You need to just STOP, its actually not allowed here per the sites owner.

Very possible we all already had it. I was VERY sick starting around New Year's eve and it lasted for six weeks. The whole family had it but I had it the worst. Hard to breath, dry cough etc. I am also on hydrochloroquine and azithromycin plus other abx so maybe that helped?

I don't know and I don't pretend to. Just glad we are not sick with covid and grandson is doing well. It wasn't anything worse than teething for him. Hopefully he won't have any lasting effects.

Well I hope I'm not a target of this post..

I've recently been making an effort to explain/debunk each and every link that has been dropped in this thread. There has been an excessive amount of these links, often with little or no context. I don't want people in HealingWell to click these links, casually skim through their contents, and end up being completely mislead. This is why I chose to address them. In doing so my intention has also been to keep the "heat" level low, and to stay away from topics unrelated to Covid-19.

Edit: I reread the top of this page where after getting into the weeds a bit on death certificates, we veered off track... I think CWL (the link dropper) was responding to my comment about misinformation in the US when she wrote "some of the biggest supporters of lockdowns also support voilent mob activity". She may have only been talking about people in the US government and not at all about people in this thread.
Leaving aside the way she phrased it, I do agree that messaging on what I called "personal responsibility" regarding the virus has been confused by the politics around the protests.

While I'm pretty much symptom free after having covid for 2 weeks I have had had a cramp in my left calf muscle for 3 days now. I've heard covid can have a clotting effect so I'm going to be calling my doctor Friday morning.

It turned out to be nothing and has gotten better. Clotting is a problem with covid so I guess I was just worrying too much.

Ive had a lower leg clot. It was not the same feeling as a cramp.

My leg was getting larger diameter and I could no longer push in the muscle with my fingers vs the opposite leg.

In your case of uncertainty, in the meantime having that leg up might be wise.

I admit that I got completely political there.

But I do need to make one point w/ respect to conspiracy theory. There's been talk about clearing up "uninformed posts" and "misinformation", etc.

I'd like to point out that no one here is the arbiter of truth. You may think you're just clearing up misinformation in the name of "science", but just remember, that same science would label every single person on this board as conspiracy theorists and anti-science.

FLOG: Yeah agreed- I'm not trying to grant myself any kind of special authority. I have been hoping to avoid this by trying to debunk/explain the links in a conversational manner.

I too wish this all didn't clutter the thread, making it harder to follow the personal experiences of those affected by covid-19. In my opinion though, the best solution is less links.. or as I've said previously, at least research the links well before you post them.
