Lymie24 - How are you doing with BVT? I remember you saying you were prepared to start a few weeks back.
Hi! I'm sorry I never saw this post.
I chickened out and ended up continuing with DSF last fall instead of starting BVT. I kept using DSF until this summer. I had been on it for about
a year when my LLMD said I should stop due to potential toxicity issues. DSF is a hard drug to take in my experience. Not pleasant. My LLMD, who I believe was at a lost on what to do with me, suggested herbs, rife, and nutritional IVs. So what did I do?
BVT!!!!! Lol
I had hoped DSF would be the "easy" way out, but alas, it was not to be. I started BVT this past Monday. Test sting went good. I had no issues. I did one full sting after the test sting. Wednesday I did two more stings, and OUCH!, They hurt like a SOB for about
5 minutes, but the pain lessened after that. The only thing I've noticed different since my stings is a lymph node(s) in one of my armpits is sore. That's a good sign.
I'm looking forward to the journey. I wish there was a scientific consensus on how to treat Chronic Lyme, but since there isn't, I'm going to go with what I deem has the best anecdotes as far as alternative therapies go. I have a friend that completed 3 years of BVT to great success. For the first time in awhile I'm optimistic again. I'll try to keep this thread updated with my progress now and again.
