I don't think you are understanding how this works

Nearly EVERY death has multiple causes. If a person dies of cancer or heart disease or diabetes etc there are nealry always multiple things wrong. This has always been the case. No one dies of cancer only, they die of cancer and about 5 or 6 other health complications at the same time. Ever visited a palliative care unit? ALL of those people have a long list of things wrong as they near death.

Same with covid. There are complications and co morbiities but the MAIN reason they died is covid. This is normal. This is how deaths have always been reported, there is nothing new or different going on.

Also, ONCE AGAIN, if you claim the covid deaths are being exaggerated you have to explain why we have well over 200,000 excess deaths this year, many of them from breathing complications like pneumonia (like misdiagnosed covid).

And nearly 5,692 of them had "Intentional and unintentional injury, poisoning and other adverse events".

I do understand what you're saying and really think that the pcr is more of an issue.

I've heard things that indicate CV-19 was in the US in Fall 2019. If this is so and considering how contagious it is said to be, why didn't we have significant excess deaths then?

1. Talked to a local man a few days ago whose wife was sick and had loss of smell in Nov. 2019. A relative of theirs contracted it and had loss of smell in Dec. 2019.

2. My chiropractor said that in fall of 2019 there were like 100 kids sick in the schools. They were going to the doctor, being tested for the flu, and testing negative. He and his wife also had an illness (his wife with bad cough). He thinks Covid was here then.

3. It's said that autopsy of first woman known to die with CV reveals she contracted it in Nov. 2019. Dr. Joel Hay believes CV had spread nearly everywhere in the world before we started counting cases.

What about tracking the spread of the virus? Isn't that a good reason?

The NYT article suggested that the threshold was too high to measure contagiousness. I'd go on but I feel like I'm saying the same things over and over

..So it's 35% of symptomatic adults, symptoms lasting longer than 2-3 weeks

I'm just sharing some things I've heard, Lapis_29.

A lot of what we hear in the news is propaganda. Quin gives an example above as to how things can be manipulated.

If we were to go back and listen to everything Dr. Fauci said about the pandemic, we would not think him very competent. Was he right when he said CV-19 was comparable to a severe flu or was he wrong? Was he right when he said masks for healthy people would not help in any significant way or was he wrong? Was he right when he said CV-19 was not a significant threat to US or was he wrong? He also said, "The driver of respiratory outbreaks is symptomatic people, not asymptomatic carriers".

In other news, CV "cases" are spiking in Europe. UK is cracking down on gatherings severely (no groups over 6 people allowed). Denmark and Norway both have surpassed Sweden in number of new CV "cases".

potsnpans, yes, we are repeating ourselves a lot. I'm just not sure how legitimate it is to include people in case count who barely have any virus and are not contagious. Recently learned that a "case" is different from an "infection". I'm quite sure that we've never tracked a virus with pcr like we are doing now. Reporting "cases" based on pcr like we've been doing would certainly send people the wrong message and encourage fear and mitigation actions when not legitimized.

I was discussing this with my husband.
He was refused testing (back in March)
First time he called he listed his symptoms which included GI distress but he never had a fever.
They dismissed him because of that.

He got worse and called again several days later and they then said that not everyone has a fever and now gi symptoms are on the list - and even though they think he has it - he doesn’t need a test.
If he has trouble breathing to go to the ER.
He got worse and the night it “peaked” he almost went to the ER (I wanted him to) but rode it out at home.

What we weren’t thinking about is long term damage without a positive test result to back it up.


He says now his lung capacity still isn’t what it was pre-covid.

I wouldn't doubt that some people who contract CV have long term symptoms (perhaps rare) but don't you think it's possible that someone whose immune system has been weakened by CV could be susceptible to other infections flaring up? Other viruses activating? Could CV have been the "final straw" for some people?

Possibly, but it doesn’t sound that way. You should look at the posts on that Facebook page Quin just linked. Many of these people are younger, have full-time jobs, and had normal lives before getting slammed with COVID.

“Perhaps Rare” - I don’t think so. If you’re listening to sources who doubt the reports of long term effects or the long list of symptoms reported by survivors or downplay the occurrence of ongoing symptoms, I think you’re going to be deceived.

From the accounts I have read, I’d rather keep my Lyme/co/mold than trade it for COVID-19.

It's interesting to see the way the info and responses to Covid 19 seem to ebb and flow across the weeks. I usually pop in here every week or so to see what people are discussing. I've tried to based my thoughts solely on the most recent legitimate studies but I'm back to work in the entertainment industry and as we start up production I am speaking with co-workers on our crew that I haven't seen since February. So I'm getting a lot more anecdotes. Far more stories of people I know in my work circles that seem to have likely had Covid 19 in March but weren't able to be tested in Los Angeles at the time. A few have mentioned long term side effects so I am interested in reading more about those cases as they are studied.

As for me, I found out I had Lyme (officially) in early March so most of my Covid Quarantine has been about my Lyme treatments, SOT, meds and boosting my immune system - which set me up well for returning to work this week. I'm covid tested 2-3 times per week via dual nasal swabs and we get the results by the end of the day. I know what we are spending over the course of the next 4 months on testing and when I multiply it out over my entire industry, the numbers are staggering. I'm really curious what we think next year when we turn around and look back at the return to production this Fall and whether or not it was the right move.

The UK may be a current example of what happens when using current testing standard. See videos below. Prime minister is now limiting gatherings to 6 with threat of penalty for transgressors. According to Worldometer, UK deaths are low and stable.
