IMO, you should not be twitching and jerking if you’re cured. That ain’t normal. I don’t think it’s “damage.”
I never even had twitching, jerking, or electrical zaps through the head until I started treating bartonella with houttuynia and sida acuta.
WalkingbyFaith,
Which houttuynia did you use? Were you using fresh or dried stuff? Just curious, Buhner says the fresh stuff is miles better and I bit the bullet and ordered some in from woodland essence. Just wondering which ones you used.just chipping in on this as i also recall reading that buhner said that fresh houttuynia was best - but unless you grow it (i think its an annual? so takes the best part of a year ) it's very hard to source fresh.
i tried dried and initially doubled his doses to account for the dried vs fresh strength differences
the herx at this level was massive and unmanageable
later i was able to compare it to the doses needed to get strong herx of other buhner anti-microbial herbs - like Sida, mahonia, and Cryptolepis, and found that i would get strong herx by around 33 to 50% of his recommended dose of all of them
so this seems to support that dried works plenty good enough
based on this i think dried will work just fine
initially, i sourced the dried leaf powder from 1stchinese herbs - plumb flower brand
i now source it from Lymeherbs.eu
both were comparable in quality
