My labs for this test repeatedly come back high. The lab that tests for this has a normal range of <17.7. Mine are 34.3. I have received different explanations from allergic reaction to this being an indicator of babesia(which I had). My LLMD tests me regularly for this. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Blueize, are your eosinophils high as well? My eosinophils were extremely high for a few months, and no one ever had a great theory about why. They resolved. My LLMD chalked it up to MCAS.

saraeli No my esinophils have always been normal. I always suspected that I have suffered from MCAS though..reactions to many things meds, food etc . Is there a reliable test for that or is it based on symptoms? From what little I have read there do not seem to be many doctors that deal with it.
