I don't understand it. I have been exposed to Covid 19 several times, at work especially (i am a pharmacist). I also have been out and about everywhere since the beginning. I pretty much have been life as normally as I can. I go out to dinner, go grocery shopping, work at the pharmacy, go to the bank, post office, bowling, etc. I was in direct contact with 3 different individuals within a week of them falling ill back in March when this all started and was just exposed again last week. Every test is negative. No symptoms. No sickness of any kind.....

I am trying to figure this out. It is not because of chronic lyme, because my immune system is not weak. I don't have any lyme symptoms currently, although I had a flare up in the fall like I do every year. I exercise and feel 100% fine. Maybe it is because of the herbs I took or maybe I did come down with a cold version of the coronavirus in the past and that is protecting me and it has nothing to do with having had lyme.

What has everyone else's experience been like? I am just very curious. Thanks!

My husband had covid last year (March) and I never got it.

He wasn’t tested but he had the symptoms.

I was also going to the hospital - around that time - bringing my friend to her physio appts.

I think it's quite common.. whether you already have some kind of immunity or whether you've already had an asymptomatic infection.. who knows?

Do you normally get colds/flus?

I've been covid free as far as I know.

I just was wondering if there was any immunity link with the Lyme World
Yes, I get colds and such. Got the flu last year and strep this past summer actually

Yeah I wonder too. Its been hard to gather if there's a general influence.. heard many anecdotes that go both ways

Several long posts on this that got too lengthy. Yours is more to point- your exposed regularly.

I am officially "immune compromised" by immune testing level standards and have not noticed any serious covid symptoms. ***Immune cell Levels and and strength are two different things though****

Maybe I had it already? who knows.

One guy at work was gone for one month with symptoms. Another tested pos from his daughter having it- but he had no sx, daughter lost taste and smell for two weeks, now normal.

After wearing a mask and washing a lot for one year now, ive not had a full blown cold at all. (Flu? - thats now almost unheard of in the general public).

Itchy throat two weekends- maybe was covid, didn't test as it was only two days each.

Who gets symptoms and who doesnt and why is the big question. .

I can’t remember the last time I got the flu - many many years ago. At least 10.
Get the occasional cold

How long after infection do you think an antibody test would show positive?

I haven't had any reason to suspect covid but I had to get a PCR test recently to allow for a hospital procedure.. it came back negative. As far as I know the window for PCR showing positive in asymptomatic/mild covid is somewhere around 1 month.

Recent best estimates for the US pop are around 1/3.. can't remember where I heard this atm

Two of my children have had it - August & December. I tested antibodies and was negative after the first one had it. Would like to check again since I did have a mild cold after my second one had it. I did COVID pcr test at that time and was neg.

I did have a VERY bad respiratory virus in Oct of 2019, as did my youngest who has not gotten COVID yet. I wonder if it has provided some immunity. It was not the flu as we both tested neg for flu.

1000Daises, I also tested negative for antibodies twice. Honestly very odd. And I am not blood type O.

1)No appologies needed, Im being capt obvious pointing out the big difference here vs other covid threads is that you are exposed to covid regularly.......

I got covid. I took mepron until it went away.

I probably never would have noticed that I got covid if I hadn't been doing a pulsed protocol and stopped the abx for a week.

For those who didn't get sick despite repeated exposure, what meds were you taking?

When my husband got covid - he took the recommended (at the time) drugs we had purchased “just in case”
Trying to remember: aspirin, a decongestant, and an expectorant I think.

One evening after being exposed to
him with covid for several days I developed a cough - and took the meds.
Next day I was fine.

He has recovered well but says his lung capacity isn’t the same.
He can’t do his 20 mile bike ride in the same time as he used to.

She tested negative to the virus several times between those months but the only antibody test she had was in October.

DS, O- blood type, recovered from Lyme: had it last March and in early Jan 2021. First time was insanely sick but not hospitalized - symptoms similar to Lyme but only lasted 1 week, not years. Jan 2021, much easier (confirmed by test) was feverish 2 days and had head cold and lost taste for about a week. He has O- blood.

DH, A+ blood type, had LD twice, caught early, treated a month each time- had Covid in March exactly 2 weeks after DS. His was milder, only sick a few days but....he had night sweats for 9 weeks and then a few times over the summer and also had extreme brain fog/memory loss. I'm back on the board because he's showing signs of LD/Parkinson's and we want to treat LD to see if that's causing the symptoms. It could be post-Covid stuff too...hard to tease out. No diagnosis yet.

College age DD and me - both O- blood - we were both exposed during both episodes of Covid in our family and neither of us got sick. DH and I have tested negative for antibodies since we started donating blood regularly in Sept 2020.

Also, DS and DH weren't tested back in March as it was too early. However, I did take DS to doctor who knows his situation well and she tested him for flu and strep, negative. When he saw here a few months later for his sports annual she exclaimed that he absolutely had Covid - they just weren't aware/knowledgeable about it at that time.

Hi guys I’m currently in bed with what could be possible covid. I work at a school so I am around a lot of people/kids. I had a horrible headache that wouldn’t go away for a few days along with feeling really rundown. I’m waiting on my test results. Any recommendations? I’m currently on Sida, Hout and oregano oil for my Lyme/Bart protocol, I’m surprised I’m actually sick being on these herbs. I’m also on lots of vitamins including Vit D and Zinc. For those of you who have had covid what were your symptoms and how long did they last? Thank you

I would strongly suggest you drink warm water throughout the day - you can make tea with boiled orange and lemon peels.

I would also suggest Garlic and Mulberry Leaf Extract.

Detox (epson salt baths)
