Okay, I am very curious about this. I have CIRS from mold. Could this help me reverse epigenetic shifts due to that?
How much does it cost?
Well mycotoxins can form dna adducts. The test also show the amount of each mycotoxins in your cells that aren’t adducts yet. Either way the treatment can clear that from your adducts / lipids.
The tests together run around $2100 total. Treatment is pricey too. Around 3-400 each iv once worked about
to full doses of everything in the PK protocol. It’s a lot but I’m glad I’m doing it.
Now I have a hunch when you say CIRS epigenetic shifts you’re referring to shoemakers work / Dr. Heyman around CIRS affecting genetic expression? And VIP to turn that off etc..? The functional medicine world doesn’t seem to follow that line of logic, and people like Neil Nathan have shifted more towards the cell danger response model. Which is once the trigger is removed and the cell feels safe, the body goes back to functioning. There are exceptions but largely that’s the rule. Now there’s more to this protocol that promotes DNA repair and increasing beta oxidation to reduce neuro inflammation etc..
I also want to add this doc saves this stuff for people who haven’t responded enough to more traditional methods. Binders and herbs etc... Months of CSM didn’t help me much (I originally treated for mold illness with CIRS markers). VIP made me feel terrible. I have no positive infection results. Even did the dna connexions urine PCR. Nothing made me herx, just minor flairs that could’ve been unrelated.. but then I got ramped up too fast dosage wise on these IV’s and I was down and out for two weeks. Liver enzymes went crazy. It’s better now since we slowed down.
