Thank you for mentioning VAERS. I had never heard of it. For others who don’t know, it the government website for reporting adverse reactions to vaccines. According to the fact sheet for the general public and health providers, anyone can report an adverse reaction and are encouraged to do so.

This is good to know, as we have a tendency to feel helpless and at the mercy of those in authority as to whether anything will be reported or taken seriously, etc.

I, personally, have very recently started taking personal responsibility by contacting my government representatives regarding bills I oppose and contacting manufacturers to make product suggestions and requests. We, as a people, tend to only complain to ourselves and friends or family about issues that bother us rather than going to the source. I have decided to start taking personal responsibility. It’s way past time.

I am very afraid of the social bullying that is going on to pressure people to take the vaccine. I WILL NOT take the vaccine. I am happy to get fired from my job. I am happy to never board an airplane or go into a gov't building again. I WILL NOT take the vaccine. Not with Lyme disease. I have enough governmental bioweapons in my body as it is.

If it comes to it, I will create a fraudulent vaccine passport. But I am not taking the vaccine.

The entire anti-vax crowd their motivation would be not having vaccines. I was in the ACC group for well over a year. The symptoms people say they got from vaccines that they got 20 years ago is mind boggling. Many many had an ax to grind. Im not doubting the legitimacy of all the case reports by any means vaccines cause problems sometimes very serious. I also believe some of the reports are blatantly fake.

Maybe this is a minority viewpoint, but while I respect the opinions that are expressed in this thread, I wonder if maybe they would be better off posted on a different forum or a section of HealingWell that is not the Lyme Disease forums.

Lyme Disease is already maligned by the medical establishment and I worry that discussions of this sort will continue to reinforce the stereotypes and labels that we get hit with.

The big problem with the VAERS database is its unverified. I almost wish there was an identifier you got when you got a vaccine and had to include it. But that would essentially be tracking you so that would defeat the purpose and run amuck in many ways. Have you heard of the anti-vaccine movement? Some in that movement are quasi religious about the stance.

As always, the vaccines went through trials. The data is available for anyone to see. The vaccines continue to be administered at an astonishing rate. Some people will die after vaccination by chance alone. These stories were inevitable. If the vaccine causes significant injury or death in rare cases that is something that hopefully will be investigated quickly and will have good evidence one way or another. The overall question does not change. Does the benefit outweigh the risk?

Sorry, but people are in here promoting conspiratorial agendas that will only impact public health negatively. That’s a problem. Keep the COVID stuff away from the Lyme. People can do their own research and come to their own conclusions, but stop poisoning the Lyme forum with COVID stuff.

I went to a school board meeting and the discussion came up on vaccination requirements. Several people spoke with the most incoherent arguments it got very heated. Both sides the arguments were very inflamed and in my opinion flat out wrong. Notice I said both sides. It was like listening to a argument on an elementary school playground.

Yes I strongly believe people will post false claims and that sucks. Yes I do think this women had some reaction to the vaccine and died from it. I also think if you had a time machine she may have died in the next two years from some unknown condition. Perfectly healthy people die every day. My friend had a serious stroke out of the blue in his 30s fortunately he recovered and hopefully will live a full life. Another friend of mine had a massive heart attack and died in his 40s. No prior health problems.

dcd2103 in only two month more than 1000 deaths reported just from the mRNA. Of course, the real Numbers from deaths after mRNA vax are undereported because its much more than 10.000 in 2 months. If you want to play the russian roullete and advice people to go for its and risk dying from the vax, be my guest.
We must not be obsessed by vaccines being some game changer on this pandemic, its not, the vaxxes are even loosing efficacy due to new variants, but the "system" blindly continues obsessed to inject ppl with mRNA vaccines despiste any Proof that it will be effective. Just because you develop antibodies, wish is the only think that a vaccine does.. does not mean we are protected from the wild vírus. It could be a loose/loose approach. On the other hand, safety measures like distance, hand sanitizing, masks are proven to be more effective than vaccines itself. Treatments like Exo-cd24 Ivermectin also will be crucial and are options that will be available, i hope, as an alternative for the ones who reject vaccines.

Again the world or the system is upside down, thats why i will reformulate your question:

"how do you weight the 10.000 deaths from vaccine adverse reactions with 500,000 lives that could be saved by taking Ivermectin? Could not be the former avoided by the latter? Risk/reward?

This is just to open your eyes that vaccines is not the only option on the world to reduce deaths from covid, you know?

And just for the record, where is the evidence that vaccine saved 500.000 lives? Do you have any? The most important measure that has saved millions of lives for now, is the isolation and confinement of people and application of safety measures. Also, treatments like ivermectin are saving lives and it will save more as the "system" opens his eyes and stop being obsessed with vaccines as the only hope for covid

I just think the vaccines are effective. I mean they are, that much is proven. And you are clearly over-stating the risk of death. Even if ivermectin were a useful treatment, which I think it may be, it’s not going to eradicate co-vid. Pretty much everyone would have to get it and hope ivermectin saves them. Not a great plan. Vaccines are the way. I too am worried about it stimulating my immune system, but they’re proven, we’ve wipd numerous diseases off the face of the earth using them

Where did you get that idea that vaccines will erradicate covid? How did the common flu vaccines erradicated flu, in the first place? Why are the vaccine manufacturers saying you will need to be vaxxed every year for covid, like the common flu vaccine? Its obvious that covid could not be erradicated at all. Variants and new variants every year like the flu. Instead, Dr. Kory and europe researchers proved that if Ivermectin would be approved for covid treatment and prevention, Covid would be erradicated in 6 weeks. This is something i only heard from Ivermectin. Didnt hear from not any reliable source that vaccines will erradicate covid, ever.
