Tindimax

For Lyme it’s used as a cyst buster.

My protocol had me taking it two days in a row one week per month.
1000 mg twice daily.

i have some - but not used it yet - is on my list as a possible cyst buster for lyme

i have been reticent as i tend to have heavy herxes from anti-microbials and from what i have read Tinidazole, while supposed to be a little easier on the system than the very similar drug in its class Metronidazole, it is still known to be one of the harder ones for many to tolerate.

i think it is also known to inhibit the acetaldehyde breakdown in the liver and cause Antabuse like reactions - so is counterindicated with alcohol of any kind.

i also see tingling and numbness on the list of possible side effects - so given your history ( other things have caused this to worsen) and symptoms pattern - i think if it were me i would not want to jump right in at a 2g/day dose

it also has ( rarely) been known to cause some hypersensitivity/allergic reactions which can be dangerous - intuitively i think those of us with revved up immune reactions are likely to be at a higher risk of this type of thing than the general public - so i would want to test a very small amount first just in case.

worth a read here ( although it has to be noted drugs companies tend to put everything and the kitchen sink in these lists - as its the main way they protect themselves from litigation - the way it works is you cannot prosecute them for their drug causing your legs to fall off if they put in the small print of their adverse reactions section that it might....so all pharma drugs tend to have these very long and scary lists )

I have no experience with Tindamax but did take Flagyl for 7 days last August.

My notes from Flagyl:

- not long after 1st dose of Flagyl, I felt slight headache on sides of head and burning inflammation in the back of head that felt like it was my brain being inflamed
- 2nd day felt sharp pain and a throbbing surge of brain burning; this was BEFORE my morning dose of Flagyl
- it’s 7:15 pm and I feel surges of inflammation and numbness in head and front of throat.

I seem to recall experiencing brain inflammation the first two days, feeling better overall for a couple days and some more brain inflammation the last two days. It also changed something in my gut, and I started passing stuff out of my intestines and also caused ropeworm to start coming out again.

I took 500mg at 7am this morning. I'm starting to burn and i can suddenly hear/feel my pulse in my head. Anyone else have that?

i have been able to hear my pule in my head for the last 2-3years now - esp if i lie down - has never caused any issue as such - just a bit odd.
