Update: I posted about
cavities under teeth crowns a few weeks ago. Found out thats what happened, and might need my first root canal there. **Also have new cavities since my last September 2020 cleaning on the teeth themselves.** That is far from normal in an adult who takes care of teeth and is mostly sugar and "fake sugar" free..
My teeth issues did not happen till AFTER treating lyme, about
2018.
-Ended lyme ABX and all tick infection treatment 2016.
-Mid 2000's my WBC count was midrange/good, but blood protein globulin's were getting low around 2010
- 2016 WBC, blood proteins and globulins were always low
-2019 further tested immune classes under the WBC,s found low, under the range. CD57 was forever low- dead givaway.
Lyme prob off/on since 1970's.
The primary question Immunologists ask (I go to one) are about
having any unusual or increased infection problems. My answer was always "nothing anymore besides my past lyme and re-occurring digestive candida in the past".
Tooth decay/cavities were never on my radar, because as an adult I rarely had them.
Tooth decay is a bacterial infection, usually of the strep family and it seems my immune system cannot keep them in check anymore.
Now I get cavities beyond my control, for no reason. It sucks. Multiple cavities two years in a row (early 50's age) and now I prob need a root canal too, first time ever. The standard teeth x-rays once a year are no longer enough.
I eat like a saint, no candy, no soda, no
cookies, Ive never used table sugar in any form as an adult. No sugary coffee / lattes either. I do snack on gluten free low sugar nut/grain bars (very selective which type).......which I guess is also now a no no.
Alternative Health advocates might be against fluoride, but higher fluoride tooth past is the only thing I can do for this.
Dental Hygienists can obviously tell that I floss and brush regularly, since I dont have much plaque build up.
I goggled poor oral health with immunodeficiency , and they go hand in hand......I was NOT aware nor warned of this possibility.. Something the immunologist never mentioned directly to me.
