Benadryl and Tylenol before vaccine

I had the first dose and took benadryl and tylenol before the shot and right after.
My arm hurt a little and no other side affects so far.
I'm scheduled to receive the second does in April, and plan the same procedure.
Has anyone else done the second dose using a premptive strike.????

Not sure about your question. Others might be able to help with that. Some on this forum have taken the vaccine: others of us don't plan to take it. There have been other threads discussing the whys.

Did want to mention though that Vit. C, Vit. D, Zinc, Quercetin, ECGC, NAC, etc. are all cheap, natural things that can help prevent or treat Covid. Also, my dad takes Quercetin and ECGC to help combat his prostate cancer.

Ive read several articles about pain killers not being recommenced before the vaccine as they can mute the immune system which your trying to stimulate. I dont know about benedryl. I get my second dose next week sore arm after the first that was it.

I believe Tylenol is fine..the advice was not to take anti inflammatories sch as Advil as they may have an effect on the immune response. Haven’t heard anything about Benadryl. I took Tylenol after my second shot.

I'll have to change to an anti flammatory.
