Ultraviolet Blood Irradiation, Ozone, and Glutathione Injections

Has anyone had any experience with UBI (Biophotonic Therapy) and/or blood ozone treatments?

I am considering doing 10 treatments to stimulate the immune system in order to destroy any and all pathogens. This is where some of your blood is taken and ran through an ultraviolet light killing pathogens, then ran through the ozone machine to oxygenate the blood and repumped into your body.

Originally I had thought that I could do them together, but on second thought, I think the ozone would be strong enough to cause me to herx. I know that the laser therapy and ozone together would probably put me down for days/weeks.

Anyone tried either of these treatment options? Pros? Cons? Worth my $1500 to do it?
I am thinking that we could continue using the herbs during and after these treatments.

Also, what are your thoughts on glutathione injections? I had one this morning, and I'm not sure I like it just yet. Definitely anticipate to herx some from the first injection. Worth sticking it out and doing a few more?

I had great success with UBI in 2015. I got better very quickly. I honestly feel like Lyme went into remission, and I had a year of no symptoms. I did 16 treatments, twice per week for 4 weeks, once per week for 4 weeks, and once every 2 weeks for 8mweeks.

I am back in treatment for very different issues now, that I have concluded are co-infections. I'm not sure why now. I don't have an answer.

I have not gone back for more, mostly due to cost and time it took out of my work schedule.

1. I don't have any of the same symptoms, tested + for mycoplasma which was negative before. Doc is sure I have babesia rearing it's head and I have pretty well proven Bart from beginning herbals

2. I think I stopped way too soon with UBI. I stopped when symptoms left and should have given it several more months based on what I've learned here

3. For some reason my body kept the co-infection symptoms at bay for a long time... now they're back and pretty harsh.

4. I will *never* regret the great symptom free year, and I was back playing golf and softball and working out like crazy. I had energy and no pain, and it was wonderful.

I'm going to get fully in Buhner and then start the UBI again. The herbs are challenging my system now, so I feel as if it's enough without adding in more UBI.

I have also been doing UVLrx but stopped due to time as the clinic is not close to me.

As a comparison, UBI helped me more quickly for sure. The major difference was the ozone and 4 UV light box, which I think was overall more thorough at cleaning than UVLrx... but I didn't do nearly enough UVLrx yet either... only 5 treatments scattered over a couple months.

I am currently in treatment with the MAH ozone, H2O2 peroxide, high dose mineral immunotherapy, glutathione and UVrlx- (shouldn't be offered at the moment as the FDA just pulled the plug on the research program declaring a cease of use on it but my Dr anticipates a new program to start by the end of the year green lighting its use again- dang gvmnt)

I started 6 weeks ago and required help walking on my own into this clinic. I'll admit, I was very skeptical. A UV light in my arm? What will this really do... The first treatment was the UVrlx. Made me quite sick that evening. The day felt much better. The H2O2 created the biggest herx. All treatments helped but the ozone and UVrlx give me the biggest boost. Within a week of treatments I felt much better. To be honest I feel I've reached a plateau and looking for a push to improve.

I still have some stubborn lingering symptoms as my doctor tells me we're dealing with a complex mix of co-infections. Ramping up Buhner while continuing...

Give it a try-Its a part of my program- I do ozone and UV after my sauna and IPT>
Since I have to travel I only do it every two weeks and try to get an ozone sauna in on the opposite week..
I don't think that there is a major downside. For me ozone UV alone wasn't enough but nothing alone
was enough-let us know how it works for you

I did 11/2 year of IV peroxide. I do not see any improvement on antibiotics except azithromycin. it really got me out of bed and functioning some. Then I took all kinds of supplements and herbs moved to get Iv ozone for 6 months. That really made a big difference for me. plus getting the right dose and right kind of thyroid medication and supplementing iodine made a big difference too.

When I got on the iodine I lost 20 pounds in 2 months. We are all very deficient because the government as lowered the recommended amount over the last 100 years. I was also magnesium deficient. I am taking a protein supplement now methyl b 12, LDM 100, VFT venus fly trap which is discussed in brian rosner new book, vitamin C, gundry vital reds, which is a great anti inflammatory and antioxidant, and melatonin. I use the IV peroxide as needed down.

I have an activated EBV infection that I am taking famvir for and that really seems to be helping me. It takes 3 months i have read before you see a big difference.

I think the EBV has been what has been keeping me from fully recovering. I hope that helps

I did a few months of it ...i may try more ozone ...was teally tired on it ..it takes caralase and superoxide di****ase to process it ... i wish this crap worked ...i did get a port because i was tired of being stuck..glutithione is the bomb ..a vasodilation and major antioxidant ..i do 2g a week and have a script for nebulized ...

I've done IV ozone with UVBI.

I've done IV ozone at 3 different ND offices. One of those offices was a Holtorf branch and they include UVBI with their ozone. For them it's standard. The tube they use to return the blood back into you with the ozone (they use gravity vs a machine) has a wand that looks similiar to a kaleidoscope. It's placed in the UV machine and your blood flows through it on the way back to your body. I personally feel that ozone may very well be by far the best tool in our fight to getting well.

I herxed after my first ozone but was fine two days later. I was just shy of two years treating at that point. They can adjust the amount of ozone they use. I saw someone mention that they got two big syringes full of ozone mixed with their blood on here sometime in the last week or so. I got 8 since I'd already had 12 treatments. Start low and see how you handle it.

So I guess my biggest question is, "Do I have anything to lose with it other than money?" I know it's not a one size fit all. Nothing is with this disease, but is it worth at least giving it a shot if I can raise the money? People want to know how they can help. I'd love to let them help pay for a treatment a little more intense that my current Byron white protocol.

i did one ozone therapy treatment and felt nothing from it. didn't do UV. waiting for UVLrX to start back up prob early next year. won't be doing both as i'd go broke but need to decide which one i might want to start up again.

Suggest you go to youtube and type in "using light as a natural antibiotic" They show the entire process with uv and ozone.

I know someone who did Biophoton therapy for lyme/babs.

Nothing done with the blood though.
She just held a wand in her hand...

Hey, guys! The mold inspector who came today has mold illness. She got really sick a few years back and tried functional medicine and finally got recovered with 12 treatments of ozone and UV blood irradiation. I told her I had heard an oxygen concentrator could help. She said she tried that first and it wasn’t enough. She said both the ozone and the UVL kill the mold in the body. I was wondering if anyone had done this for mold.

Yes. I did about 20-23 sessions of ultraviolet blood irradiation and ozone therapy. I had mold issues back then and didn’t know it. I was using it to treat Lyme and coinfections. But my mold and lyme doc highly advises it for all of her patients.

It was definitely helpful in getting me to where I am today, but wasn’t an end-all be-all. Eventually I just hit a plateau. As with anything. It took many more therapies after that to get me functioning where I am today. However, if I could afford to do them again, I would. I did one back in October, and felt wonderful for a whole day. But the feel good didn’t last long. To me, it was worth the money if you did it long-term. Doing a few here or there may not give lasting improvements. I did it at my functional medicine doctor’s office at the time.

It costed about $2K at the time, but it would be way more expensive now.

The mold inspector I was talking to said she paid $3500 for the 12 treatments. Not sure how many years ago it was. She was in Delaware at the time.
