Bad Headache/ pressure and very puffy eyes

Hello all,
I have been treating Lyme for months now, that was diagnosed and I suspect Bartonella and babesia (not tested). I started with antibiotics and most of the Buhner Protocol, and then ended antibiotics and switched to the zhang protocol with some buhner herbs, biofilm agents, etc. per my llmd. The headaches started within days of the switch, so I backed off a bit and it got better. It’s been a few weeks and I seem to be holding on, and then the headaches eye pain and swelling have gotten worse. I am not sure what to make of this. Could this be a herx? Or relapse? Also the zhang herbs Houttuynia and artemisia seem very strong but are geared towards Bart and babs, so I question if it’s killing one of those? Or something doesn’t seem to agree. My head feels toxic. Not sure what to make of any of it. Any thoughts would be so helpful. 🙏

With the puffy eyes especially, I would wonder about an allergic or mast cell reaction to one of the things you're taking. Can you back off each ingredient separately and see if things improve?

Thanks for your reply. Possibly I hadn’t thought about that. Another thing I have not mentioned is that days before my Lyme infection, I had a mercury filling removed, and I had no idea how dangerous this could be. The so I think I had a lot of release of mercury into my nervous system to begin with, which initiated the infections x 10 because I got severely sick very quickly. I have been taking chlorella, and I have also heard that chlorella shouldn’t be used with mercury exposure? I thought it binded well with mercury.

drilling mercury out can be very dangerous-did they use a rubber dam at least?
Also do you have much dental work-its often overlooked. Some llmd start by cleaning out the metal and root canals

No they didn’t. I still have one amalgam filling, but I don’t have any plans on the removal of that.

FYI-swallowing or breathing in mercury vapor is not good.
Metal in jaw can lower immune system-just like root canals

Hi,
I got root canal and then straight away got a headache, then i got the tooth removed. Then tested positive for lyme antibodies. Im going to see a bilogical dentist in two weeks for him to have a look at the extraction site to make sure everything is ok there. I do have a mercury filling on another tooth, should i let hime remove it if he suggests it or leave it alone.

If the dentist uses SMART protocol (safe mercury amalgam removal technique), then yes, it would be good to get it replaced. Sounds like you just have one filling, so that won’t be a big deal to get done. You won’t have to worry about it anymore.

thanks for your reply, I had zero symptoms for Lyme until I had the root canal. I must of kept it at bay with my own immune system and then it all went wrong. Strange to think it could of all happened because of the root canal
