psoriasis?

Hi guys, I'm very upset right now. I had a small spot show up on my chest 4 days ago. I just saw a derm who said it's probably psoriasis. She biopsied me.

My brother does have psoriasis. It showed up a few days after starting herbs (wormwood and blackwalnut) for candida. I'm such an idiot, no supplement has ever helped me, but i continue to get side effects. Never trying another one again.

Is there any chance its not psoriasis? Anyone have anything like this go away? Unfortunately the flakes make me think that it probably is. I want to cry, i honestly cant handle another autoimmune disease. This might be the lowest I've been in a long, long time.

whatever it is - a spot that small may just go away as quickly as it came dcd.

with this illness, where the immune system is dysregulated - lots of odd skin effects can come and go frequently - i have odd blister things, red patches, scabs on my scalp, hyper pigmentation (lots of new flat mole like things ) hypo pigmentation (white patches) - whilst i would much rather not have them - the way i look at it, they do not impact my life in a very significant way - at least not compared to pain, fatigue etc so i can live with them - some of them get worse while i do treatments while fatigue, function etc improve - most of them come and go - so i see it as an inevitable part of the process - i wouldn't be too concerned.

very much doubt dcd - from such a small piece of skin infected i doubt there would be enough metabolites produced to show up.

what it does show though is that your immune system is not able to do a very good job of fighting off fungal infections at the moment - so it may be a sign that it is able to prosper elsewhere in your body

btw - i had reoccurring ringworm type stuff before i got ill and then for the first couple of years while ill - but happily no sign of it since.

i would try something topical anti-fungal on it in any case - but to me it points towards a stronger case for trying systemic anti-fungals

Dcd, its a 1 cent, but in a video i shared, a doctor reported a unusual finding, a psoriasis patient seems to have treated the psoriasis with ivermectin. Who knows if somehow Ivermectin removes the cause of autoimune psoriasis by killing some resistant parasite or bactéria? Only now is Ivermectin showing what is capable off.
