Thanks for this information Garzie. Surprising but not surprising. I was prescribed Ivermectin and took it for a week. I noticed I had more energy for a couple of months and no arthritis flares. Now my health is bad again. High CRP ( when it was normalised again).
I’ve just gone back in bruhner LB core and wondering if I should do another week of ivermectin? How often do you take it? I’ve also tried LDN but find myself depressed on it. How much LDN do you take ? I’ve had chronic Lyme for 25 years, hashimotos , RA. All developed after Lyme.
i am taking ivermectin for its reportd immuno modulating propertis to try to help my body fight the infected better for itself - 12mg 1x per week
LDN is not a normal drug - but a very unusual compound that interacts with the immune system in complex ways - this means the affects can be more adverse than desirable if you do not titrate it up at the rate that suits your body. many people do not recognise this - and start at too high a dose - or treat it like a standard medication and take a standard dose - even LLMD's
for me this means starting very low at 1mg or less and the titrating up in tiny steps of 0.01mg ( that's right 1/100th of a milligram each couple of days ) more than this especially in the beginning and i got sleep disturbance, all over pain, fatigue etc etc - i am now at 4mg per day
