Anyone ever treated by the big Dr. Richard Horowitz? Hes right here in NY which I live kind of close, was wondering if hes worth a try?

the og from hudson has quite a waiting list 6-9 months few years back -i knew a mother in law of a celebrity who got in and it wasnt cheap . at the time he was on dsf kick . i like his logic expressed in his books . and he was teaching the french docs about msids... lettuce know how it goes ...

i think he is likely one of the best out there

i tried to book my partner and I in with him a few years ago - was willing to travel from the UK and stay for a few weeks to get through the initial consults etc

they had an 18month waiting list at that time ..... ruled it out as an option for us

Thanks everyone, I've heard its like $345 per visit or something, I'm asking because I've seen 5 star ratings bt then 1 star ratings as well. Some ppl say hes turned it into a business $ instead of helping ppl.

i think customer service by his support staff was lacking at times but i think the doc himself is a v good guy - i do think he is focussed on research and wider education, and lobbying actions to help as many people as he can - rather than clinic work these days though - so availability might be an issue. $345 sounds cheap for the main man.

It is $2k-3k for the initial visit. I believe that his PAs do most of the work with patients. You can send them an email to confirm, this info is from my inquiry around two months ago.

I saw him in 2016/2017. Overall it was good although in the end they didn’t really know what to do with me. He definitely tests for many things and was the most comprehensive doc i’ve ever seen. Not super knowledgeable about mold or mcs. He has you on a lot of meds/supps - and I mean a lot! After awhile I just got tired of it all.
