I thought you were taking this the entire time? If you're not doing anything to combat brain fog regularly then I would definitely take at least L-Ornithine. I take 500mg a day, every day. At times I have taken more (I use the NOW brand and it says to take 1500mg a day) and didn't notice a difference when I increased. My LLMD knows I take it. It's great for brain fog, but Burbur Pinella is too.
Then you could try other things for neuroplasticity...even just jigsaw puzzles, crosswords, reading more, learning a new language, stuff like that. Try doing things with your non-dominant hand, like brushing your teeth -- all of that helps your brain.
Have you ever taken SPM Active? It repairs injuries. Or what about
something like Microbe Formulas MitoRestore, to help mitochondria? I've only been able to use it a couple times because I herx like mad from it.
I was waiting for someone to bring up burbur pinella, so it is good for brain fog, I'm suppose to get my 1st bottle today. I'm scared to try l-arginine which is needed to remove the ammonia from our brains, bt I know it can also bring out herpes , shingels, ebv even more , that's how they multiply
