I had a massage about
a week ago and have heard my pulse in my ear when lying down ever since. Does anyone have any insights on why this is the case? Please LMK. I also had a very stick neck two days afterwards.

The infections gave me pulsatile tinnitus.
It sounds like you might have that?
When my ear was on the pillow I would hear a swooshing sound to the beat of my heart.
It went away after extensive Bartonella treatment

That sounds to me like fluid was moving around your body during the massage and got stuck. Maybe try self-lymphatic massage, or seek our a craniosacral therapist? Here's a video of a lymphatic massage method that I've used successfully to stop that pulsing in the ear: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QA-wi0d7-Ro

i have had the pulsing / wooshing nose in my ear, whenever either of them are on the pillow, since getting ill also.
also suspect it is bartonella - my GP however says he has it, lots of people do, not unusual

The infections themselves can definitely cause this. It can also be caused by narrowing of certain veins/arteries causing "turbulent" blood flow, injury to the neck, and high blood pressure. I have this too , just beginning a few days ago after sleeping wrong on my neck and its annoying as heck! Its not 24/7 and its hard to figure out what makes it worse.

This is actually quite common with lymies. When this forum had 50-75% more traffic (5+ years ago), many had this mysterious ear heart pulse/beat. And it was more common on the left side.
I had it it before and after ABX, sometimes with or without heart palps too. Kept me awake a few nights. As a side sleeper, it drove me nuts.
