Looking for LLMD in Rhode Island, Connecticut or Massachusetts

There are a few LLMD's prescribing the persister drugs - Dapsone....Daptomycin...Dasulfiram...PZA...

I don't know know who is prescribing daptomycin in particular.


Were you symptom free each time you stopped antibiotics?


I see you haven't been treated for bartonella or babesia specifically. Was that ever discussed?

Hopefully, someone will be along and can email you some LLMD names who may do the Daptomycin.

thanks Cberg and Girlie...I showed negative on blood tests for bartonella or babesia and don't have the classic symptoms. Of course, the blood tests are notoriously inaccurate and I have never had a biopsy, so I can't be sure.

After stopping antibiotics, I no longer had joint pain, sensitivity in the feet, brain fog or headaches but I was still weak and easily fatigued (which is a common side-effect for me from antibiotics).

From reading the scientific literature (I have a phd in a scientific field), it's clear exactly what drugs work in vitro to destroy all forms of the bacteria. It's not clear what drugs work in vivo, however I'm willing to try. I've got 3 small kids, professional job, and I'm a single mom so I really need to cure this disease.

Any help much appreciated. I'd like to find an LLMD who is prescribing the persister drugs. I'm willing to travel cross country if I need to, but east coast would be preferable. Please email me!

I do know on that prescribes the Dapsone, but not sure about the daptomycin.

Greetings! I've been under treatment from an LLMD in RI who is going to be retiring soon. I'm looking for a replacement LLMD who keeps current with the science of Lyme.

I'm particularly interested in any doctors who are using the drug combination (ceftriaxone/doxycycline/daptomycin). See https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5095124/pdf/fmicb-07-01744.pdf. This combination works in vitro to kill persisters.

I had the bull's eye in July 2016, was prescribed 14 days of doxy by my well-meaning but totally ignorant GP. Relapsed in August 2017, treated with doxy, cefdinir and palaquin by LLMD. Relapsed again in April 2018, being treated with amox and cefdinir by LLMD. I take a ton of supplements, which don't seem to be enormously helpful.

in CT I was foing to see dr. T.M bt hasn't been taking new patients for the longest so I'll be seeing Dr. S.P in CT waitlist was short got In within 2 weeks with the RN.
