Can anyone who owns a IF sauna be more specific about their experiences or the benefits they saw?
Thanks!
Sure. It definitely has helped with my Herxes in a measurable way. If I start to feel nauseous and my heartrate inceases and starts palpatating signaling a big toxin buildup there used to be nothing I could reliably do to stop it. It'd start that way, then my chest would start to feel hot, my body would start to ache, then all sorts of unpleasantness would ensue. Now at the first sign of trouble I can hop in my sauna and sweat it out for about
25-30 minutes and when I come out my heartrate settles back much closer to normal, my nausea subsides a lot, and the Herx symptoms dont progress any further.
It has stopped it cold every single time. I've since read that the accelerated heartrate is just the normal way your body reacts to toxins in an attempt to get rid of them, and not just specific to Lyme. Sweating heavily in a sauna greatly assists your body in what it's trying to do. (make sure you drink a lot of water just before and after you get out)
In the past I'd say it took about 12 hours or so of feeling horrid before I'd get to the recovery point I can achieve in 30 minutes in the sauna. And if I'm feeling ok when I get in, I actually get out really noticably refreshed and more energetic.
