Boost Oxygen

Boost Oxygen is a can of oxygen with 95% pure oxygen (you take inhales for seconds whenever you want - it was made for hikers re altitude & air quality). Does anyone know if this could cause a herx for someone with lyme, bart, babesia? I know ozone and other oxygen-related therapies can work to kill the bacteria, but I wonder if this could.

95% oxygen, 5% ambient air

Never heard of this, but it sounds interesting. Hope you get some responses from people who know something about it.

I use it all the time. Never had a herx. It’s helpful sometimes when I feel like I can’t breathe. Especially during storms. I can tell it helps when I suddenly can see much more clearly.

I have never heard of this Boost stuff, but that sounds awesome and now I want to try it. I have used Microbe Formulas oxygen liquid drops and have definitely herxed from it with Bartonella symptoms.

It depends. I have circulation and autonomic issues so if I’m in a place where I need it it will help. For example if the air pressure has dropped during a storm and my body isn’t adjusting well it helps a lot. Things stabilize snd my eyesight improves. Or if my blood pressure is low and I can’t raise it properly sometimes it also helps my system calm down. Or if it’s too humid and I’m having breathing issues (apparently if my blood oxygen is consistently 98% with some 97% I’m not happy... only if it’s 99% with occasional 98%). My sister in law bought me a pulse ox when the pandemic hit. It’s actually been really useful since I don’t always want to take my blood pressure so if I just want a quick glance at something I use my pulse ox to get some idea of what’s going on.

I’m not sure I’d say it gives me exact energy. I mean yes when it stabilizes me I am more energetic but I don’t think of it as like a sugar high or something. It just stabilizes me when I need it.

I am really sensitive and get herxes from most things that is possible to herx on.... but I never have experienced any herx from Boost oxygen. I use it sometimes when having air hunger... sometimes it helps and sometimes it doesn't.
