I'm so mad!!!

Some of you may remember that I was debating what to say for my sisters wedding speech ...a sister who I feel was not there for me through my lyme journey. Well she had her bachelorette party on the 6th/7th and wedding was on the 14th. I got covid from one of the two events. I spend the last five years socialy distancing and now I get covid from her wedding events. Inservice for teachers starts next week and I can't go. I will now be rushed/unprepared for the school year. Sorry, I had to vent! I'm soooo irritated.

I'm only on day three of symptoms but so far I feel ok. I'm more achy than usual and my throat is sore.

No I'm going to try to order in on that alldaychemist website to make it a little cheaper. My llmd prescribed 4 12mg tablets a day though and I can't afford that.

Even if insurance will cover ivermectin, there's usually a quantity limit and they won't pay for more than the standard dosage.

48 mg a day is way more than the FDA-approved dose, and possibly risky.

If you'd have to pay for that much ivermectin, you might as well treat with mepron instead.

The problem that I had with mepron is that even though it cleared up most of the covid symptoms in a few days, it takes weeks to build an adequate antibody response to covid, and I had to keep taking mepron during that time to prevent the virus from relapsing. If you treat covid with mepron, you really do need a whole bottle of it, so this ends up being a pricey option.
