Even if insurance will cover ivermectin, there's usually a quantity limit and they won't pay for more than the standard dosage.
48 mg a day is way more than the FDA-approved dose, and possibly risky.
If you'd have to pay for that much ivermectin, you might as well treat with mepron instead.
The problem that I had with mepron is that even though it cleared up most of the covid symptoms in a few days, it takes weeks to build an adequate antibody response to covid, and I had to keep taking mepron during that time to prevent the virus from relapsing. If you treat covid with mepron, you really do need a whole bottle of it, so this ends up being a pricey option.
