I'm sorry, but you can't say you aren't looking for an argument and then proceed to posit extraordinary claims and not expect some push back. When I see posts like these my first instinct is to pass by them by and protect my mental health, but then I remember that people, of all types and subject interests, visit and post on internet forums and their messages influence people.
First, it's a well-known phenomena that some people with Chronic Lyme, PTLDS, whatever you want to call it, do experience a relapse after receiving a vaccination. However, on Lyme forums, you usually hear people dogmatically claiming that vaccines are terrible for anybody in this condition. That's not true. People with Lyme do get vaccinated and are just fine. I'm one of them. It was mandatory to receive the flu vaccine every year I was in the military with Lyme and I also received both Pfizer doses without any incident. Due to the uncertain nature of how some might react to vaccination speak to your doctor, or even better, multiple doctors.
Secondly, an anecdote does not describe reality better than a metric crap ton of data. It never has and never will. Many people have probably continued doing whatever they were going to do and have been fortunate not to be infected yet or had a mild infection. Conversely, there are countless stories of people who have mocked the virus, people's reaction's to it, and any type of mitigation method who have died of the virus and their ignorance and hubris is left behind on social media for everybody to see
As far as the conspiratorial view of the situation? Let's think about
that rationally. When considering this POV you must consider this:
Make sure you are questioning all the other governments, and their public health experts, who have also determined that these vaccines benefits outweigh their risks. Make sure you you question the consensus of related experts that are not government employees who have come to the same conclusion. Make sure you pour over the data which include the vaccine trials, the ongoing studies throughout the world (but especially in the UK, Israel, U.S. since they were among the first to vaccinate a large % of their population). Make sure you consider the implications that all these governments, their experts, private experts in related fields, all the media you dislike, all the doctors and nurses working with actual COVID patients, all the data that has been collected, and the subsequent evidence derived from it....consider that all of that has been faked, exaggerated, manipulated to control you, and expose you to a harmful medication (vaccine).
I would love to see a rational justification for that. I don't see how it can be done without diving deep into the paranoid conspiracy theory rabbit hole.
As for side effects, much rumor and fear has been spread without digging into the actual evidence. First, let me be clear that I'm not saying there aren't potential risk with vaccination. The problem is many people are looking at the risk for vaccination only when they should be looking at it as vaccination risk versus infection risk. Myocarditis is a good example. It mostly happens in young men, both in terms of vaccination and COVID infection. Via vaccination....
"Dr. Tom Shimabukuro, deputy director of the CDC's Immunization Safety Office, said in a presentation that data from one of the agency's safety monitoring systems - Vaccine Safety Datalink (VSD) – suggests a rate of 12.6 cases per million in the three weeks after the second shot in 12- to 39-year-olds."

Additionally:
:There might be a 2.5 times higher incidence of myocarditis in those who get the Moderna vaccine compared with Pfizer's vaccine, the Post quoted a source as saying."

That sounds bad right? Well, look at this:
"A recent observational study conducted by United States-based scientists has revealed that the incidence rate of myocarditis due to the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection is about
450 per million cases among young males. Young males with the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), which is the disease that results from infection by SARS-CoV-2, are 6-times more susceptible to myocarditis than those who received the COVID-19 vaccine. The study is currently available on the medRxiv* preprint server."

So, as best as is understood right now there is a 6x more risk of myocarditis from COVID infection as there is vaccination. Now I grant that as time goes by the understanding of the risks of both vaccination and infection will likely become more accurate.
Let's look at blood clots:
Study: Covid-19: Risk of cerebral blood clots from disease is 10 times that from vaccination, study finds
https://www.bmj.com/content/373/bmj.n1005
Again, I grant that the accuracy of these numbers will get better as time goes on but a pattern emerges anywhere you look, and I also grant there is ton of nuance in these studies.. Science is not a dogma. It is a method. It will change as the understanding changes.
There is just a incredible amount of nuance that gets missed in these conversations. The evidence thus far shows that the side effects from COVID are more risky than the side effects of vaccination. Then you have to factor in that COVID is FAR more likely to kill or make you seriously ill.
We are right at 5 billion, that's right with a B, 5 BILLION doses distributed throughout the world. Again, nuance here matters. Risks will likely become better and more accurately defined as time goes on, but if there was a serious problem with the vaccines we would know about
it by now. 5 BILLION
I'm sorry for the long post. If this can even get one person to look past the fear based conspiracy rhetoric and start looking into the actual evidence I will feel it would have been worth it.
