Rash after starting protocol???

I have been on "Maintenance" for awhile now. I take meds one week a month. (M/W/Th/F)

So yesterday (Tuesday) this rash showed up on my upper right side of back - shoulder area.

Any significance? Coincidence?

(This happened a few months ago, as well)

that an odd one - round reddened patch

i know bart is associated with lots of different kinds of skin rashes - not just the famous streaks

i also get rashes when i treat with antibiotics or antimicrobials - but these are more like little pustules that pop up in the skin on my arms legs and flanks - they have hard cores inside them of some white substance

its gross and irritating - but it does seem to occur when treatment is working and i am making progress - so i try not to focus on it

It is interesting that it shows up with treatment...but for 5 years or so - I never had a rash there...so why now?

maybe I got a new tick bite?

You should draw a circle on it, see if it grows Girlie. I think that's what they do with new bites.

Yikes! That rash looks angry and deep. Is it painful, itchy, or burning?

Has it appeared anywhere else besides that one area? It looks like it could be a drug reaction. Did you talk to the doctor or pharmacist about the rash?

Is this the same shoulder you have symptoms in?

I was thinking not likely a drug reaction because it’s just in that one spot. If it was med related wouidnt there be more than one spot like that?

No, not the same side as my shoulder/upper back symptoms.

when i had port installed i reacted badly to the anesthesia. bentonite clay was the only thing to pull the intense itching out , then rash subsided. when liver and kidneys cant handle the toxins the skin gets the dirty work...

Took meds again today - and feeling crummy now. Pain ramped up.

My temp is up - bordering on low grade fever. 99.5

Unfortunately I have my second vax tomorrow.

Your rash looks very suspicious to say the least. Compare it to these bullseye rashes to rule out reinfection:

I moved my vax to Monday.

I feel relieved.

I’m feeling a bit better - no appetite tho.
Fever not as high.

I got a small version of that when I did my home pemf first time. First time everything got itchier and a red spot like that popped up and was itchy but went away in a day or so. Ever after everything was less itchy and angry till I had to pause pemf. I talked to dr Pawluck, go who sold us pemf machine and he said initially because of increased circulation pemf can dump all excess histamine lying around into system as its trying to get washed out. So I figured it popped up because of excess histamine.

I’m on ceftin and rifabutin too. Also clindamycin cryptolepis and artemisia

Bailey - how are you finding the Rifabutin , Ceftin and Clindamycin ?

Are you taking it for one week out of four?
