Induced Native Phage Therapy

I know what phage therapy is but Ive never heard of this actually being implemented.

Does anyone have any knowledge on this for Lyme or this clinic?

Biologix Center's website screams scam to me. Many of their claims of how they treat illness screams scam to me. I'm open minded, and certainly want success for everybody, but I'm extremely skeptical of their practice.

I would approach with caution.

in Russia and some ex USSR/eastern European countries they have working on phage therapy for a long time now - since at least the 1940's i think - but when antibiotics came along - it became a bit of a medical backwater. but it has been used successfully for several stubborn bacterial infections - incl TB i think.

but that is actual phage therapy - where they inject patients with lots of bacteria eating viruses ( that's what phages are - short for bacteriophages - viruses that make a living by parasitizing specific bacteria )

what the biologics describe - is definitely not that - it is something entirely different - without any supporting research presented to support its claims and - unless they can provide that it is likely that its simply leveraging off the name of something legitimate and using pseudoscientific sounding phrases to convince the desperate and vulnerable.

in general i would be very cautious of anything that talks about "subtle electromagnetic frequencies" being "transported" into the body.

if they would like to come here and debate any of the above, or simply provide their scientific evidence, i would be happy to be proven wrong.

Well said, Garzie. about 90% of the content seems to be devoted to that "leveraging".

I too would like to hear more about the part where the patient drinks magnetic frequencies, and how that activates borrelia specific phages that are already in the body

First, Girlie was right when, in my comments from a year I meant Phage instead of Phase.

I understand everyone's doubts and questioning of methods used and advertised at Biologix. The knowledge I have is from what I experienced there. While I do not totally understand the Phage treatment and the frequencies referenced above, I can attest to what I believe are Biologix sincere motives to get people better. This is simply based on my experience there, and Biologix continued, volunteer efforts to come up with ideas to help without asking for anything in return. It is also based on how everyone there treated me and did all they could for me while I was there.

The inflammation I could feel before going was one thing that was much better. My mind was much better, according to my kids. Anxiety was much better. Fatigue was not. Others have seen much more complete results.

For those who have been on this site a while, they know my decision to go to Biologix was not an easy one, nor do I have any business interest in the business. . And when I did, they made no guarantees of what the results would be. Went in eyes wide open. The treatment there was so much more than the Phage treatments, and while there I met a number of people who had gotten better for a number of years after going to Biologix and were back because some symptoms have crept back up. These people had nothing but positive to say about Biologix.

And there is no doubt there are those who do not. I stay in contact with another person who had good results there, and another who did not. But both agree the efforts were sincere, as had been my experience.

In this s----- Lyme world, anything we try is a chance. Any time we see someone, from the "best" out there to a local naturopath, there is no assurance you WILL get better. We can minimize our chances by educating ourselves about who we are going to see (pay) in an effort to find an answer. But, as I knew going to Biologix, there is no promise it will work. Hell, I had a natruopath around Atlanta who was supposedly "very good" with Lyme. I spent thousands of dollars on visits and ridiculous supplements she sold me. Once, when I told her a particular supplement she wanted me to buy was bad for my kidneys, she said "But I really want you to take these." I replied to her "And I really want to keep my kidneys from getting worse." Finally, she sold me over-priced essential oils I should have said no to, then I found out her son was selling them in a pyramid type business. Wanted me to sell them too. Never went back.

However you look at Biologix, I respect. Based on my experience with them, and keep in mind I don't feel good right now, I would take the chance and do what I did again. My hopes are the Spero Clinic does wonders for dcd, who, I believe, is there now? May he come out of there in much better health. But, there is no guarantee, and he knows that. But based on what he investigated and surmised from it, he pulled the trigger to go because status quo was not going to work. My prayers are with him.

That was my thought going to Biolgix and any other person I have seen looking for an answer. I would estimate that over the many years, I've spent about $100,000 on Lyme treatment. By the way, like most of us, I am not rich. Almost all of it was a monetary chance. None came with guarantees.

The local naturopath I don't consider a "scam," but self-serving for money would be a more appropriate way to put it. I do not have that feeling for those at Biologix or Dr. Jernigan, even though I'm struggling again. But we all have different trains of thought, and with Lyme, I don't question why that is often our first thought first thought about a provider of any type.

Potsnpans - Your kind words are appreciated, though I could come up with a long list who would question the integrity part . But thank you.

My not so important thoughts about spending the money to seek help for this are like day trading on the stock market. It’s not pure gambling but “educated” gambling. You study the stock’s general pattern, what’s happening in the world then either do or do not buy it.

Sometimes what you learned helps and money is made. Sometimes not. Same with clinics and doctors. In that case you take the risk and either feel better or not.

Hope you figure out what your best chances are on finding recovery. There is nothing more important and no better reason to gamble. Life back instead of more money. Or not.

Your points in the Phage treatment was well taken, and your points are valid. You had mentioned that before in a post I made last year, I believe.

Whatever you mention is always well thought out and has reasoning, Garzie. When you mention something, I always take notice and find it helpful.

I just find Biologix and the people running it sincere and truly want to help. That includes time just sitting there talking with Dr. Jernigan and time spent with his entire staff.

The fact I am not feeling bad has led to calls from Dr. Jameson there with concerns and attempts to help. The Phage treatment? That I still do not understand but whatever any practitioner does I try to out faith in. But your point is valid.
