I just almost died in my detox bath

Today turned out well despite my grumpy mood. My brother is staying with my grandparents so I feel really good about that situation. My son and I got the quality time we needed after the never ending holiday. And my (dead) mom's 60th birthday is January 1st and I got some plans made with my family to spend the evening. Lemon pound cake and Chinese lanterns. Like always :)

The sun was out even though it was frozen outside. I sat out there by myself for a long time and just watched the birds fly around and pet my dog and healing kitty. Today was not wasted even though I felt like I should be in the hospital. I'm amazed at the strength I muster up when I think I just can't go anymore. I'm feeling like a warrior!

It was hard to smile and laugh. It actually hurt. All I wanted to do was cry and feel sorry for myself. But I didnt. I stayed strong and made myself proud.

Hahahaha. Nature is my therapy! That's how I ended up with lyme- being outside and hiking and riding my bike through trails and running with my dog.

The cold doesn't make me feel good. But man when the sun is out it sure does feel good. I do need that shirt!! I should buy like 6 of them and wear them everyday hahaha.

My face did end up swelling. The right side is maybe almost 3 times the other left. It sucks. And hurts. And will probably make it hard to sleep. I hope it's from the marcons. Because that stuff is supposed to be dead by the end of January! And then maybe I won't have to look like such a freak at random times.

original poster: did you ever get any answers from a doc about this? I just experienced exactly the same thing. Warm bath with epsom salts, a little hydrogen peroxide and baking soda, and maybe 6 drops of essential oils. Same exact bath I’ve taken a dozen times before with no problems. But today my skin started burning on one leg and my butt, and just those spots felt slimy. Like you, I thought maybe it was the oil but I don’t know how it would have gotten just those spots and caused such damage from such a small amount. I didn’t get the black out feeling like you but despite washing off with soap and cold water I can’t get my skin to stop burning. Internet has no answers; this is the only thing that turned up in my search. As if I needed something else weird going on with my body!!

It was definitely the peroxide that burnt you for sure. I've used peroxide to clean my mouth and same thing happened it left white little marks and my gums burnt in that area like a chemical burn. It can be dangerous. I dnt use the peroxide anymore
