Hi Everyone!
I've been struggling with a certain symptom pattern today that seems to pop up every couple of weeks or so, and I'm wondering how worrisome it may be. As I'm quickly starting to overthink things, I thought it may help to ask you guys for some advice!
For the past 3-4 months I've been focusing solely on treating mold, (despite having Lyme/Bartonella), and for the first time in a year seem to be making some improvements. I suspect mold may be the biggest contributor to my health decline over the past couple years, and am hopeful.
However, every couple weeks (or even months, it's hard to say) I'm hit with this weird, pretty intense lower back pain, paired with lots of hip tenderness/aches. The back pain feels... internal. The hip pain feels less like joint pain, and moreso like pain radiating from the muscles surrounding the joint, if that makes sense. I've also noticed that when these symptoms pop up, it sometimes hurts a bit to urinate. Not excruciating pain, just a burning-type sensation.
On the plus side, these symptoms never seem to last more than a couple days before disappearing, only to reappear weeks later. However, it seems to me like the burning urine/lower back pain most likely indicate some kind of renal system problem. Inflammation in the bladder? Kidney irritation? Who knows.
The point is, do you guys think I should be worried? I know the toxins from Lyme/Co and mold can irritate the renal system upon excretion, but its hard to discern the point at which inflammation starts to cause real damage.
Have any of you guys dealt with something similar? Any advice would be great
