I never take naps, ever. They have always made me feel awful. But I was just so darn tired. The little joys of life, it's amazing. I deserved to get that extra sleep. I have been having such a hard time with sleep, being that my body loves the night and hates the day. I could never changeover to a 9 PM to 5 AM sleep, so I started doing close to the opposite. It's kind of worked for a bit, but I now wake to the sun as I am in another room, all because I wanted to be better sure that I was away from any mold. We STILL have yet to have an inspector come check it out, but you know... someday. I am still working on trying to find another place to stay, but seems impossible as my parent's house is full, my friends... Let's just say I don't really have any because I'm not into that life, and I cannot find anywhere local that would help, at least yet.
For the time being, I am going to spend my time attempting to get extra sleep as much as I possibly can. I woke up after this nap and was so hungry, I went down and washed off a pint of blackberries. Blueberries or blackberries, pretty much every single day, or at least every other day. Just nice to have had that little something. I don't see many plus sides these days, but to get some extra rest, it was truly amazing.
I am going to do my absolute best to pull my sleep schedule into the wee hours and keep moving back as much as I can. I used to be a night owl, but maybe it's best for me. It's always worth a try.
SIDE NOTE: I spoke with my primary naturopathic doc (also have a primary western doc) today and he works in the same office as my Lyme doc. Well, I explained to him that I believe I should be on a binder, such as charcoal. I told him my Lyme doc didn't want that and he said he felt that was wrong. He gave me the okay to use it as I please, because he agrees with me that I need to bind these toxins, especially have a HLA that repetitively sucks the mold/other biotoxins right back into my system. I can't see any true harm in using it at least once before bedtime, as with having MCAS it could help suck out the extra histamine residing in my body, alongside many of the mycotoxins, particularly the black mold in my body.
What do you think? I hope you're all having a great, but if not decent day. I'm not the best, but it's not the worst day and just thought I would share a positive!
