Again, this is hostility and inaccurate. I have seen people bend over backwards on this forum to help you. Only for you to tell them how much you know already and that you disagree with most of what they are saying. I think it would be helpful if you clarify what exactly it is that you want to get out of this forum. You mentioned support, that's fine but then it would be better to ask specifically for kind words. As oppose to advice about treatment.

Forest nobody has mentioned that you are new and I can assure you most are not thinking about this. It says the date you joined under your username because that's simply how the forum works. This is not a competition on who knows the most. You keep mentioning how much you know in every post. We get it, really. There's no need to keep mentioning this.

At this point in time I have no interest to persuade you.

I just wanted to mention that exercise can be good for those with POTS. Perhaps not in all cases.

I had the POTS and initially I didn’t do much for exercise - but after awhile I did and it didn’t make my POTS symptoms worse.

And now I have very minor symptoms of pots on occasion

Girlie - Agreed. We cannot just go right into something like that without working the reason for the dysautonomia first. If you do have POTS and infection is a problem, it might be worth getting your Aldosterone checked. If frequent urination is a problem, Antidiuretic hormone may be also worth looking into. Both of these can be a culprit in POTS and are often overlooked. From my research, I have found that the pituitary may be the culprit behind this for many with infection.

I didn’t get tested - I just treated the infections and exercised on the elliptical machine and a few light weights.
I didn’t have it pre Lyme - so I assumed it was from the infections.

Girlie - Also, if for some reason your practitioners are not willing to order these tests, you can always pay out of pocket to various labs without a practitioner ordering them, depending on your state/country. I have a list of some, as I have done the research on what is most accurate based on experience from various practitioners.

Girlie - I completely understand that, but it all depends on the testing done. These are tests that are just being utilized now and we are seeing a better use and understanding. Knowing what is more out of line can better help connect the dots as the the initial underlying cause. For instance, you could have a viral load that isn't showing up because your WBCs are normal, that doesn't mean your mass volume smear is correct. Science has progressed greatly in just the last couple of years. Just wanted to say that.

Other than that, I will say that I wish you the best of luck. POTS is one hell of a hard time, and I hated and still do hate every bit about it.

this laboratory says agifia, you have positive for the disease of the lyme. so now i know for 4 years. next step is making me feel better. i like this man: buhner. does you like him to? i read his book. not all the words i understand but the book is this: great.

dcd2103 - It's fairly new, but I can dig up what I can. I will say that back in 2015, I was taking part in a group study (I was being trained myself, on site) related to urine sampling/general deficiencies with the elderly, when I worked training at a retirement home back in 2014. It was interesting to see that many with Alzheimer's had this consistency of low ADH, as it seems biotoxic illness runs commonly in these folks. It would seem as though it isn't the "toxin" itself, but the changes that occur due to the toxin. This is why getting those levels back is important. Luckily, the brain/body is developed to heal and also take a lot of damage. With that said, both WBCs and RBCs are consistently changing, literally second by second, and if they are continuously low then this could be a sign that the body is trying to replicate cells but it cannot do this as fast as they are dying. It is a good sign if they stay about the same though. It would be worth getting checked for a blood infection, especially Malaria-like infection. Have you treated for this? Also, have you done any gene testing to better understand what influences those are making on your current lab work? Everything from COMT to MTHFR can certainly throw these numbers down the tube - especially combined, even if you have been "treated". This can result from long standing infection. Sometimes, it's a time thing with that, and the numbers just have to climb back up. This is where a heavy diet in cruciferous vegetables can be very important - depending on the genes, as it could put you into more trouble if for instance you have a folate issue and munch down a crap ton of brussel sprouts... like me lol.

Before I forget, and not to scare you or anybody - but it would be important to also get screened for a variety of cancers, as they can also interfere with both WBCs, RBCs, as well as ADH. It's important to remember to expect the unexpected in any ailment. With that said, keep an open mind and act now, not later.

That's all I got for you right now. I've heard that there are trials being done on those with patients low in RBCs and WBCs and putting them on high-plant diets. There may be some correlation in the fact that large of amounts of animal protein are associated with ammonia toxicity (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4267851/) and because of this, both RBCs and WBCs can actually spike, then after long periods of time, they can plummet until vast cell growth can further expand count. There is no talk of this, but I bet you the cells are swollen. We see this similarly in blood infections, so why not with something like low RBCs and WBCs?

Give it a couple of years and I think they'll put that information out. We see time and time again, a lot of these ailments are very closely related. If a disease does one thing, it's likely that another disease may very well share similar characteristics that the other one has. We know one thing they all have in common (or 99% of them) - inflammation.
