i think you are referring to a drug called Methylene Blue
it was the first synthetic antibiotic ever made ( originally for malaria ) - but recent studies have indeed found it to be effective for killing bartonella - especially when used in combination with other bartonella drugs
typically from the following groups - macrolides, rifampicins, or ciprofloxacin ( ref work of Ying Zhang )
several LLMD's are incorporating it into their bartonella protocols - eg Dr MR in seattle
others are cautious due to some toxicity studies in lab animals in long term use
