Since water makes it to your urinary tract, drinking it seems reasonable. Or, am I thinking incorrectly?
I don’t know. I know there are issues with antibiotics for treating UTI’s. I remember one of the ones I took was one that stayed in the bladder.
I know what I read on the kalinka site mentioned orally and enema as means of application. I assume by that if you’re using it for the lower GI tract, then you would use an enema. By the same token, if a woman were using it for bacterial vaginosis, she might insert it via a douche. Any kind of direct insertion like enema or douche carries risk, though, especially if used during infection. You risk pushing the infection further into the body cavity by water force.
The bacteriophage studies showed varying rates of cure, so it’s not 100% and forget about
. While the commercial preparations have a broad effectiveness for dozens of bacteria, you don’t know for sure how effective it will be for you unless you send them your sample and have it customized for what bacteria they find in your sample.
Then again, I just remembered the study I was looking at did use some of the premade commercial mixes.
I was hoping for something easy and uncomplicated, like a typical supplement.
