The book Chronic by Stephen Phillips points emphatically to the infectious origins of many of the "mystery ailments" which may take us closer to understanding, diagnosing and treating the "borreliosis complex" (Dr. J),
the "cytokine cascade" (Dr. MR)
and another of the top tick-borne doctors calls it "MSIDS multi systemic infectious disease syndrome";
most of us know this as Lyme disease (and co..infections), but only after being here awhile, or looking into it ourselves...
more understandable when one is informed and have made themselves aware of the latest knowledge, findings and practice...
there are too many doctors that may think neuropsychiatric manifestations of tick (and other vector) borne illness, are to be ignored or dismissed, it is a presentation, a symptom of the root(s) of the underlying cause (infection and other factors, stress, trauma, etc)... edit: genetics, environment yes to WalkingByFaith
anyway just thinking out loud and it's like a say "yep" to myself when I read these studies that more and more are finding this, or rather confirming hypotheses again.
