Covid vaccine experiences

Unfortunately, no one -- not a doctor and certainly not anyone here -- can tell you how a vaccine will affect you.

People can and will offer their opinions, but I'm not sure how much that will ultimately help you to make a decision. There's already so many opinions available, I'm not sure that more information is what you need.

What's really needed, for all of us, is data that's valid, unbiased, and trustworthy. But, we don't have it.

Anyway, for whatever it's worth, Dr. Marty Ross, Dr. Daniel Cameron, and Dr. Richard Horowitz all recommend getting vaccinated.

Is that correct for you? That's something to discuss with an informed doctor that knows your health history and current health status.

All that stated, if you search the forum, there's already been many threads discussing COVID, vaccines, and other treatments.

Finally, should you choose to get vaccinated and are deciding between Pfizer and Moderna, a person's sex, age, and spacing between the two doses makes a difference.

The doctor in this video is PRO-vaccine. So, he's not trying to dissuade people from getting vaccinated. Rather, he's simply sharing the data that the health agencies don't seem to be talking about.

Again, I'd discuss the matter with a knowledgeable doctor who knows your health situation.

ADDENDUM: Perhaps it's worth stating that I have no preference or opinion on whether a person gets vaccinated or not. It's an individual choice that each person has to consider and includes a variety of personal factors.

I did not and will not have the vaccine. I thought it would be good to give a different perspective. I hate to see people react out of fear. Obviously, no one knows how they will be affected by either the virus or the vaccine until it happens. Remember, even the vaccinated get the virus and people can get it more than once. I choose to take logical precautions, remain prepared, and not live in fear or paranoia.

I did get sick in early-mid December. It was mild. I followed a good portion of the FLCCC protocol, as I already had many of the drugs and supplements on hand ahead of time.

I was given a rapid response test for COVID and flu - both were negative. Went back the next day and got the PCR test. It was also negative. I still feel pretty sure it was COVID, likely Omicron.

During the virus, my “normal” symptoms all but disappeared. They returned on Day 4, as I was getting over the virus.

The second week, after the virus was essentially over, I didn’t feel good and had unusual fatigue and my “normal” symptoms were worse than before the virus (joint/muscle stiffness, sore feet, nerve pain and sensations in my head, face, and neck).

After a week of that, I decided to get back on Alinia. Took it for 10 days. By the 8th day, I felt back to pre-virus “normal.”

I suspect a lot of this is to wear people into submission and have them follow the "official" CDC recommendation to get vaccinated.

Here's my vaccine experience:

My immune system is over-reactive in the sense that it gets revved up to fight something, succeeds, and then doesn't know when to turn itself off and keeps attacking me. I have ended up with severely disabling "post-viral syndromes" from colds. I wore masks during flu season and avoided crowded indoor spaces for years before the pandemic, and had visitors do the same in my home. I am not going to get COVID if I can help it, and if I do, then I want to have as much support for my immune system as possible when it happens.

I got the J&J vaccine because it was the first one available to me in April 2021. I had 36 hours of headache and fever, and then was back to baseline. I got a Pfizer booster recently (chosen because it's a smaller dose than Pfizer) which gave me the same 36 hours of headache and fever, followed by extra inflammation and fatigue for a week. After that, I was back to baseline. I am grateful for the extra protection.

I was very nervous about the vaccines but did not consider not getting them because, to me, COVID itself is much more of a long-term wildcard, much more likely to cause long-term disabling symptoms. Are the vaccines invariably harmless? Of course not, no vaccines are. But the more I learn about long-COVID (and how often people have long-term symptoms from other viruses!!) the more I want to protect myself in whichever ways are available to me.

Anecdotally, none of the people I know in real life with Lyme have had any negative reactions to the vaccines, and I know multiple previously-healthy people who have had serious long-COVID for well over a year, and now live lives much like Lyme sufferers. My LLMD (and her practice of six other LLMDs) have had no instances of relapse following vaccination, which they recommend without reservation, but the practice has many long-COVID cases they say have been very challenging to treat. I mention this because there has been so little media attention paid to the prevalence and severity of long-COVID, which for me - as a person with chronic illness and immune dysregulation - is a major consideration.

No one can tell you what the vaccine will do to you. I believe the adverse events have been to a large degree covered up by the medical establishment and the corporate media, and I will not take them myself. I would rather get Covid and fight that - which indeed I have done at least twice now - on both medical and political grounds, because the official disinformation and the tyranny must be fought.

What I want to stress here, however, is that, vaccine or not, you are not defenseless against Covid, both in terms of prevention and treatment. There are simple, inexpensive, commonsense protocols out there that will help you avoid getting infected, will attenuate the severity if you do get infected, will help cure you if it comes to that, and will help remediate the effects of the vaccines' spike proteins should you go that route. You can search out covid19criticalcare.com or the Zelniko protocol or Dr. Mercola. It pays to start building your immunity now, ahead of time.

I’ve been in lyme remission for over a year now. I got the Pfizer last summer and did just fine. The worst side effect was a sore shoulder. To me, the risk of getting struck down by long term illness is far riskier than a shot that has been given to literally millions. I encourage people to make their own choices, I feel totally confident in mine. It absolutely was not fear based as many like to say. And I don’t agree with the mandates. Pray about it and do what gives you peace. That’s how I made my choice.
