i wrote about
my experiences with it on this thread dcd
https://www.healingwell.com/community/default.aspx?f=30&m=4211838i was also worried about
having some kind of gall bladder attack or blockage at first - because at the time i started doing them i was in a lot of pain with gall stones and gall bladder attacks that would easily be set off by eating even just a small amount of fat - but this just didn't happen.
i also read up on it extensively before taking the dive - because of these concerns.
i found an online survey with over 1000 respondents and hardly any had any ill effects at all - and to my reasoning that was as good as proof because if you gave 1000 people with gall bladder disease almost anything then a significant number would report issues - just by the nature of the thing.
the Epsom salts reportedly
open up all the bile ducts so that stuff can pass easily - in the 15-20 i have done i never had more than mild discomfort as something passed - and i did pass stones - so i would say the Epsom does do this.
in fact i even took Epsom salts when an attack had started a couple of times and it completely relieved it.
i don't think you need to do colonics afterwards - if you have taken the advised amount of Epsom salts then your body will flush everything out pretty darn well by itself - you will see what i mean if you try it.
people add al sorts of embellishments to the basic process
some add anti-parasitics on the basis that they think they have liver flukes etc
some add ornithine to help with sleep on the night of the flush
i just added fresh ginger juice as an antiemetic / anti-nausea option - as i was taking approx. 1.5x the amount of oil and grapefruit juice - which was a lot and i would sometimes have some mild nausea
the nausea wasn't bad - i just didn't want to bring it all up and waste a day of prep and have to do it again
the basic necessities are just the Epsom salts and the OO and GFJ mix - the rest is optional
