So yes a little humor there but that what it what it is referred to by many on my orgial post.
For those not familiar a witn ACC and have some predetermined ideas a little background.
It’s apppoaxh to chronic illnesses, which you all have to admit is not just Lyme, is that while you may have Lyme,, it’s is not root of your illness. Or in some cases you many not even have Lyme. Heavy metals, specifically mercury poisoning has the exact same symptoms as Lyme.
Mercury exposure, which we all have, deranges your mineral transport which n turn causes you to be nutrient starved. In addition it can get into any organ, brain, adrenals, thyroid and really reek havoc. Your body if it does not detox it well does a pretty good job at sequestering it. For many of us a significant physical or mental event cases a massive redistribution that leads to a heath crash.
The cult part come into one, not all mind you, ways to remove mercury is to use a very specific protocol. One that works in a high degreee of cases. However it’s not easy and people want to deviate and they say it’s too strict. But what you have to realize it’s strick because that’s the way the chemicals work. So just the opposite of a “religion “ in which it’s often referred to by people here, it’s much more scientific than anything a LLMD or FD is doing. Wack a mole , that’s what my LLMD called Lyme management.
So why have you not heard of it here much here. I think it’s becuse once you get fixated on Lyme it’s hard to come to terms that it may not be your core issue. Sure people dabble in Heavy metals and mold. But never quite let go of Lyme.
So if your interested read up ask question , get references from people doing it and getting better.
So to dasies point I’ll quit referring to it as a cult in jist ans pop over occasionally.

This is a group with 37 Moderators who have recovered or are mostly recovered.

If you want to join a group as a sick person and then want to tell people who have recovered how to get better then this is not the group for you.

Its best to recognize what it is and what kind of group it’s not. It’s not a open forum to collaborate on ideas. It’s a support group to help people follow the Andy Cutler Chelation protocol. Navigating it as first can be tricky. Much what is practiced and recommended by In regards to heavy metal detox on the internet and in open forums is considered dangerous by ACC. Especially when Chelating. This includes many Lyme treatments.

So yes it’s a good idea to know this right from the start.

It worked for me. It was a pretty rough year after getting my specs removed and going into the dump.

I ended up doing about 180 rounds over 3 years. I got up to the max doses of dmsa and dmps. Only got to 25mg of ala.

I stopped in Nov 2021 due to covid and longer due salivary gland surgery.

2 things occurred that really helped me. Taking a break from ACC allowing my adreaneal glands to recover and getting the Antibody Infusion for Covid. I felt noticeably better after the Infusion.

ACC was instrumental in my mental heath but I still struggled with fatigue. However I am 62 so was thinking that was my new normal.

So 2 possible thinks happen with the Antibody Infusion. Either knocked out a lingering virus I had. I still suspect a West Niles type virus. Or i had a low grade viral infection in my gland with a 1/2 stone, and the antibody knocked that infection.

My Covid experience was almost exactly like my 2017 health crash.

So overall ACC got me to 80% and was a life changed. I had a high lead load and cured my gout and it totally knocked out my sleep disorder and anxiety. Also it opened up my life to a whole new world with confidence.

Unfortunately I don't think it's one thing that causes a health crash.

Last comment. I know this forum had a lot of long term abx use. After feeling fantastic after covid I had a acute infection in my gland due to my stone.

Prior to surgery I had to go on abx for 2 months while I waited to get the gland out. Once the initial infection cleared I started to back slide. Alot. I was ruining my gut again and it took about 2 months of really high quality raw probiatics and totally getting off yeast products to get my gut health back again.

If your going to be on any antibiotics, be sure to take the best probiotics money can buy. The raw ones requiring refrigeration are the only way to go.

I just started a new post last week about suspected mercury:
Some of you know from my posting initially I like most,went through multiple Doctors and specialist, as well as several years with no diagnosis for my 30 approx symptoms before being DX 2018 w/Lyme via igenix from llmd treated 2 yrs also for Bart and babs. I only have 4 remaining symptoms so they mostly resolved treating lyme and mold and recently for candida.

Then DX 12/20 with mold toxicity w/ both positive realtime lab test as well as confirmed test of mold exposure, which was from a water damage bldg and for 10 yrs.
Had an initial mri in 2018 that showed brain shrinkage but 3 neurologist I saw dismissed my lyme and mold.

Keep in mind from that mri I was exposed another 3 years daily to toxic mold before Dx and removed myself from exposure so I expected when I had another MRI Wednesday it would probably show more shrinkage, which it did, however it was diagnosed as a fatal DX called olivopontocerebellar degeneration.

I do not accept the diagnosis anymore than they didn’t know the cause in 2018, even after telling them about the toxic lyme and mold. Now I strongly suspect heavy metal particularly mercury and will test proked after bio-dentist removes one amalgam tomorrow. Many reaons to suspect mercury, including swallowing 1/2 of one.

The symptoms I have are all the same as well as symptoms many on here have/had;
Slurred speech, coordination, loss fine motor skills. I have just confirmed when my worst decline happened 2 years ago, my regular dentist confirmed the 1/2 amalgam I swallowed was on 6/11/20 and I had the other half replaced with a composite wrong - not by a bio-dentist and no precautions were used other than a dam.

All is all Ive been at this for 4 1/2 years years with my crash. However I realize with Mercury it was going back to pretty much a lifetime.

I read so many books I cant remember who said this but a crash is like the final straw that broke the camels back. I knew I was unhealthy prior but it was all manageable.

IMHO, everything should be on the table.. Lyme,, West Niles type infection, (Note Symtomes are identical to Lyme but sever sudden onset of symptoms.) Mercury, Mold and a underlying chronic infection like my Saliva Gland.

My surgeon kept saying " I cant believe you didn't have any symptoms prior with your Saliva Gland" I kept thinking he meant gland symptoms. He stated it was like a leather bag full of rocks. I asked my normal ENT if I could of had a chronic low grade infection in my gland all along and she said,,, absolutely.

In hindsight Covid was the best thing that happened to me.

I like Bryan Rosner's "Freedom from Lyme Disease" approach. If your making gains, stay the course. if not change it up. Try different things. ACC was hard and long but I had some constant gains over the 3 years. For me the best thing now is to fully recover from my gland removal. My only focus currently is yeast. Then Ill start up ACC again.

Geeze I cant even read my old post. Chelating mercury can make you so manic at first.

I would read through this and join the FB group mentioned here. 2 big concerns. ALA a chelator and needs to be taken on a 3hr schedule. Otherwise you are just moving mercury from sequestered to you blood stream an dumped.

Equally important is you and no mercury fillings. Even a speck will be very problem.

Best to tell the FB group what you doc is recommending. You will get first had advice on what damage that can cause.

I can't emphasize enough how important it is to join the ACC support group. Sorry but i have to be blunt. if you can't navigate Facebook you'll never be able to manage Chelating.

Even with the books, pulling mercury from your brain really plays with your head. On round when mercury is all bound up, you are clear headed. Off round when you need to take a break I reverted back to my insecure weak minded self. Throughout the first 2 years you get new symptoms, you need that 24×7 support lifeline.

All volunteers, I was one for 1 year myself.

This was the hardest thing I've ever done in my life. My early posts here was when I was in my early stages. I had tons of new energy and clarity early on I was ecstatic and cocky which I'm sure shows in my posts.

Very hard to explain but as you heal more you realize that the Crash you had was only the final stage of your endocrine system unable to manage.

Truth is the mental aspects of mercury go back to our childhood in many cases. Years of insecurities and anxiety being peeled away. But it comes and goes at first.

I wish you the best but this is not the forum to manage cheation. You'll get too distracted with non ACC stuff.

ACC is not for everyone and most don't like the rigid structure. I will say that in almost every case the only time I had a problem was when I drifted from the protocol thinking I knew better.

However life without chemical poisoning is amazing.

By the way, I don't think mercury directly caused my heath crash. It set the stage for a polluted terrain. Aldo I do know I had Lyme years ago.

I'm still looking for answers and getting tested for the mosquito type viruses. I'm negative for West Niles but there are several others I could have been exposed.

My initial crash was almost identical to west Niles in the encephalitis type reaction.

Not that it changes anything but like most, I want answers.
