Yup I'm on my latest kick of finding a super herb to add to my abx protocol and black cumin seeds are it! Below are 3 articles I found on scientific studies. I also read on another forum (can't confirm it but will look to) which is quite interesting for those who are fighting bartonella.

"What I found out to be especially interesting is that the same anti-inflammatory effect that works against cancer cells also works against bartonella microbes. Cancer and bartonella need to prevent the apoptosis of the cells they victimize, and to stimulate the growth of nearby blood vessels (angiogenesis).

They both do this by activating an inflammatory factor called NFkB, Nuclear Factor kappa B.

Nigella sativa and the other herbs known to be helpful against cancers work against this by inhibiting the activation of NFkB."

I am currently taking it. But probably not high enough doses. Pretty pricey stuff.

i just bought some from amazon in liquid form. A dose of it is 1 tsp=5 grams. Thought about just doing a 1/2 of tsp to last longer, as 5 grams seems like a lot. Thoughts?

that seems fine joe. a 1/2tsp is pretty potent stuff so be careful. there are other ways to get this cheaper (seeds are the most potent and cheapest) but requires you to make a concoction yourself.

yeah I thought it was crazy they recommended 5 grams. I'll start with 1/4 tsp and work up to a 1/2. Thanks. Do you usually just drink it straight or put it in water or juice?

It is expensive I take a 2 Teaspoon shot every morning and most nights before bed. yuckkkkk. It is already too expensive and capsules are even worse. Also read somewhere you cant tell if the oil inside capsules is rancid...

the dosage i've heard to reach is 1 tablespoon 2x/day. you definitely have to work up to that as you don't know what killing this is going to unleash. it is a potent antimicrobial.

missouri how long have you been taking it and have you noticed anything from it?

i would chase this with juice or something for sure. taking it straight is nasty!

regarding pricing compared to other herbs this is pretty cheap in tincture form. for example for the amazing herbs brand an 8 ounce bottle is $20. if you get sida acuta at the same size it's about $75.

if one was to use this long term better to go with the seeds and boil them down + many have said the seeds are the best form to get the most benefits out of it.

I've been taking it in somewhat mid-high doses as in 2x 1 tablespoon / day which is approx 2 x 5grams. Didn't notice any difference. No improvement, no Herx either.

I am taking it also.

I did have a herx like reaction to it initially.
Noticeably. Increased fatigue. Some body aches.
I stated at 5ml. Now at around 10ml per day.

I think it might be helping me a little. So i have stuck with it.

Is ot possible that those getting ill effects are infact experiencing die off symptoms due to pathogens/bacteria ect being killed? Its well known that these things don't go down without a fight and when they do they release alot of toxins........ I'm still trying to find out what my issues are I do have metal toxicity approved in the ACC group im 25 and riddled with numbness tingling muscle pain and stiffness plus twitching 24/7 and fatigue amazing tho still throwing heavy weights around in the gym but then thats me in bed for the rest of the evening.
