everyone is different in terms of treatment so its very hard to give specific answers to your questions
most people who treat babesia with Babesia targeting pharmaceuticals - eg Mepron - do so for between 3 and 9 months
people who treat with herbs can treat anywhere from weeks to years as everybody uses them differently and doses them differently
also bear in mind - toxoplasma gondii has a pretty high global seroprevalence - something like 30% of people are seropositive globally -
in addition lyme and toxoplasma gondii are also known to cross react on serologic tests. Making any diagnosis where lyme is suspected problematic, based on serology alone
although both toxo and babesia are parasites - these single celled parasites are a diverse bunch or organisms and not all drugs or herbs that work for one will work for the others - may need to be targeted.
but before doing that - i think if it were me - i would go for some better testing to try to confirm what i am dealing with - the reason i say that is vibrant is not very well regarded by those in the know.
to my knowledge they have not published any validation of their testing at all - and just carry some vague wording on their website claiming its a good test - this is a bit of a red flag.
to quote their website:
Vibrant criteria for detection has higher sensitivity and specificity than the two-tier testing by CDC criteria, as demonstrated by internal studies. This eliminates doubt for cliniciansso they have only done internal studies which we have to take their word for - but then the rest of this statement goes on to make claims that are simply untrue.
Anyone with even a rough overview of Lyme testing can tell you there are no 100% sensitive and specific tests for Lyme and co - so how can it be true that their test "eliminates doubt for clinicians" - so should we trust them ....?
i am also a little concerned about
the LLMD saying that your numbers looked good - so you were done with treating - i don't know what numbers they were referring to - but again its well documented that one of the big challenges for lyme treatment is that there are no good tests that can tell you when you are done treating. if you can offer more details on that people here may have input
sorry if this is not what you were hoping to hear - and its always very difficult to advise anyone based on the sparse details contained in a forum post - but you do say you are not progressing as you had hoped and looking for reasons - and from the little information available it sounds to me like you may have been given some poor input along the way ( as so many of us have ) and this has likely contributed to less than effective treatment.
perhaps its time to take a fresh look
