The various skin issues could be because you simply don’t detox well enough for any number of reasons - genetic, toxin overload, ongoing exposure to toxins. Treatment increases the toxin load both from killing pathogens and also your organs have to process and filter the drugs themselves.
My liver and kidneys look good on paper, but I don’t detox well at all and have always seemed more affected than others to various toxins, even in childhood. Not sure why. I do know that TUDCA has noticeably helped me, but I still have to avoid toxins as much as possible.
I think the biggest skin issues I had was during the months after starting Fluconazole and then Nystatin. I believe yeast and mold produce some potent toxins. I also believe some, like me, are overly sensitized to fungal toxins, so we may react more violently to influxes of fungal toxins, whether exposed externally in the environment or internally due to die off.
I just did a search on Disulfiram and Candida and found this. Apparently Disulfiram is anti-fungal. That may be a reason so many find the drug so difficult. Most with Lyme have yeast issues.
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/33358402/. That said, I definitely don’t think that’s the only issue. Disulfiram is used for alcoholics, and they should definitely have yeast overgrowth. I am not aware of Disulfiram having horrible affects on alcoholics, though, unless they drink alcohol, so has to be more to it than that.
Sorry for rambling. Just thinking out loud here.
