MN,
I never was a patient of Dr P. But, he was my first choice when I started treatment back in 2010. Got in to see Sam Donta instead, which was a much less driving distance given my condition. I stayed with him for only one year as well and left to go to another specialist who treated co's more aggressively
I want add to all of you that many of us may never reach remission, and will have to live with some level of treatment for the rest of our lives.
Hi tickbite,
That's not true that MANY of us may never reach remission. I'm 16 years in remission with absolutely no maintenance treatment unless you want to count that I still take detox baths just to get rid of daily toxins.
I'm still in touch with people from this forum who have also healed and don't take any type of remedies/medication. They do what I do which is eating healthy, detoxing, exercising, watching stress levels, etc.
I met Dr. Burrascano (at a social event on Long Island) and later on I met some of his patients. All I can tell you is that the patients I met and tried to help were in very bad shape from his treatment plans. I wouldn't put this doctor on a pedestal, in fact, just the opposite. When I mentioned detoxing to his patients they said to me "wow, Dr. B. never mentioned that"...
Medical Nerd, I'm truly sorry for your experience, it shouldn't have to be that way.
