I guess there might be way more than just the usual package which is why certain protocols work for some and they don't for others. Or, perhaps, certain strains can be resistant to antibiotics, even though some LLMDs claim it's not actual resistance but persistence. Also, it's not like Borrelia itself has been recognized long time go - Willy Burgdorfer first isolated it in 1982. Wouldn't be surprised if in a decade or two someone discovers, that on top of ehrlichia, anaplasma, babs, bart, bb there's also hellnessia, evilnella and destroyella that make it harder to eradicate Lyme.
