The Mayo reference is similar to other charts for creatinine. Some will show anything over 1.27 is high, while others have 1.35.
The 1.94.8 equates to a 47 GFR, based on a 28 year old male. I'm not sure of your age, bro 123. I assume you are in your 20s if you are in school? So I just based it on a 28 year old male. Anything below 60 is considered to be of some concern. If you are younger, then 60 is even lower than it should be. Good news is people, like Girlie, had high creatinine, which creates a low GFR, and found out what she was taking caused it. High muscle mass is another cause.
While 1 47 GFR that is low, it could depend on what you are taking, as asked by quinn and ozzie and experienced by girlie.. It is important to find out the cause of it and correct it to keep from creating a longer-term problem. Nothing to panic about, at this point, but definitely needs some immediate attention or a retest without meds in your system.
