Welcome!
There have been lots of good posts over the years about detoxing to quell a herx. Would you like to share a bit more about how you are treating, what you're already doing for detox and system support, etc.?
My LLMD liked the formula CytoQuel by Researched Nutritionals, but you can get the individual ingredients separately as well to try them. Alka-Seltzer Gold is helpful for a lot of people. Epsom salt baths. Lemon water. Magnesium. Binders (charcoal, bentonite clay, etc.).
Sometimes the only thing to do is back off from antimicrobial treatment until you're back to a tolerable baseline. A severe herx can be damaging and set you back, so pushing through when things are really hard is not a good idea.
The detox strategies that helped me the most were:
Starting very, very slowly with antimicrobial treatment and listening to my body
Making sure to have a complete bowel movement every day (i.e. vegetables!!!)
Staying hydrated
Some people need gut and liver support in order to handle antimicrobial treatment. Regular elimination, milk thistle, dandelion, digestive bitters, digestive enzymes, probiotics, etc.
Curcumin and quercetin help me a great deal in reducing inflammation and symptoms.
Hope you find some helpful ideas!
