Rainy: Thanks for the advice! My wife got me on melatonin a few years ago, and even though it might be placebo, I take it every night. I also do 5mg.

Garzie: Thanks for the recommendations! I'm not knowledgeable about how to dose teas. I just received my alcohol free Hottunyia tincture yesterday. I'm going to begin taking that starting slow.

I have been keeping my Crypto bottle in my food pantry. When I first put in in there I thought to myself I better put it behind other stuff so that it doesn't fall out as I open the pantry, fall to the ground, and break. Of course, for awhile (like a week) I did that, but then I started to get lazy. Of course, this past weekend I opened the pantry and the darn bottle fell directly to the ground. There was glass and liquid everywhere. I was so mad at myself at first that I immediately went online and ordered another bottle before I even cleaned up the mess. lol. It's incredible and such a mystery sometimes how our brains work. I saw this exact situation coming in my mind weeks before it happened, and yet, I still did the thing that made it happen.

I recently finished 2 weeks at 100mg DSF, and increased to 200mg a few days ago. I don't know if it is the increase in DSF dosage, the addition of Crypto, or a combo of both, but the last 10 - 14 days I have had some noticeable, if only mild/moderate improvements! Some of my worse symptoms, such as the neuro stuff, the chest pain, and heart rhythm abnormalities, and exercise/stimulation intolerance have improved somewhat in general! Finally, I have some hope! In addition, over the last 2 weeks or so I've been able to exercise more consistently and intensely. Of course, one can do too much and suffer temporary setbacks, but it's worth it. This is starting to remind me of the last time I had some success with treatment when I was taking DSF, a higher dosage, in winter 2019/2020. I developed momentum and was able to start exercising again more intensely during that period. The resistance and HITT type exercise has always been key for me. When I'm able to do those type of exercise routines more consistently my symptoms are far more manageable. I'm hopeful I'm on the right track for the first time in awhile!

How is everybody else's experience going?

I just stumbled on a white paper on Disulfiram and Syncope. While I understand it is a very limited study, it helps confirm my connection with Disulfiram and my two episodes of syncopy resulting in getting a nice ride in a rescue truck to the hospital. I fit the profile to a tee on being Male, age 60+, with Lyme disease, and also taking atenolol.

After my first episode, I reduced Disulfiram from 500mg down to 250mg but continued for another 3 months, and my cardiologist cut my atenolol in half as well down to 25mg day. By then I was in good shape with Lyme and Co's and in remission for five months Rx free before relapsing and restarting a second round DSF. After the second syncope episode, I stopped DSF for good and my cardiologist had me stop atenolol as well. After a ton of heart tests including a 24 x 7 monitor for 30 days that showed no anomalies.

Again... only a very small percentage of DSF users experience this side effect, so don't worry too much.

I have read through all the disulfiram posts but never posted my own experience. Some of you already know my experience but I just want to keep a good log of info going here.

I was on disulfiram from the beguiling of aug. 2021 until may 2022. I took two short breaks once in sept because I got covid and then once at the end of March due to skin issues.

I got periods of lethargy while on disulfiram and mild mood issues (nothing worst than the usual since getting sick 6 years ago) However, my air hunger (which has been my most debilitating symptom for years now) got so much better on disulfiram. Most days I felt no air hunger some days is was there but mild.

Well disulfiram started making my skin look horrible around dec/jan. Acne like bumps started on my chest and back. I handle this for many months but then it started on my neck and it just got worst and worst until I stopped the disulfiram in May.

Now my skin is slowly healing off disulfiram (but on minocyline, bactrim and clindamycin) However the air hunger returned about 3 weeks after stopping the disulfiram.

I don't know what this all means. Some say the disulfiram was bringing out the bart and thats what did the skin issues. My hope is that I did somthing by being on disulfiram....that I made some sort of mild improvement but who knows.

Thanks for sharing wisco, I'm impressed that you read all the disulfiram threads, that must have taken quite some time!

Sorry to hear you don't have all the answers as to what's happening right now, but hopefully it will become more clear in the future.
