https://www.amymyersmd.com/article/avoid-fermented-foods-candida/There is talk about
candida here occasionally, that is usually digestive candida, Which I’ve had many times. There is a standard conventional medicine blood test for it as well that detects antibodies, and it’s pretty accurate.
It’s pretty easy to get if you have immune system problems, auto immune, leaky gut, or from being on antibiotics. It’s pretty easy for Gerd to accompany this as well.
Of course the general population as of the last 10 years probably thinks eating fermented foods is just fantastic for digestive system, the correct answer is NO....it isn’t if you have any of the above issues.
This is also why I do not agree with using the SB probiotic yeast, it’s just common sense not to use it as it’s fueling the possible fire or the fire you currently have especially if you are taking antibiotics.
If you ate going to take a probiotic with meals, preferably the opposite time that you take antibiotics or any bacterial killing herbs supplements etc. take a bacterial probiotic - And don’t go overboard with that either.
I recently had digestive candida and or SIBO try its best to come back, So I have really been limiting my diet starchy carbs sugars anything with yeast and fermented foods.
I just googled if dill pickles are OK , I’m not really sure if they’re ferment or not but they have vinegar in them,....the answer is no, dill pickles are not OK while you have candida which is kind of a bummer. That’s what brought me to this website up above and I just thought I’d post it as a lyme public service announcement ....have a good night!
